Location was great for both old town and other areas. Room was quiet and well equipped.

Only point is that the a la carte breakfast offered to hotel guests at restaurant next door was not worth the money.

Large room, nicely designed. Good breakfast.

No welcome presents like water, slippers etc. No fridge. No vending machine.

A really delightful very well appointed boutique hotel right in the centre of Bilbao, a short walk to the Guggenheim museum and close to big underground car park. Colourful bar/restaurant and great breakfast. Highly recommended.

Our view from the window was not good

The hotel was very well located on the edge of the old town and right by a metro station. The foyer was small but modern and bright and the staff were all very cheery and professional. Our room looked into an internal yard but was bright enough. The room was a good size with all the expected facilities of a quality hotel (safe, kettle etc) and the bathroom was a fair size and was modern and clean with a good spacious shower. The room was also nice and quiet at night.

Breakfast appeared to be contracted out to an adjoining restaurant which is very smart and modern. We had breakfast there once but whilst it was very good quality it was served to you so it was one helping only of a limited menu. It was also quite expensive so we didn't eat there again.

There was nothing to not like

Great stay in the Old Town, just round the corner from Plaza Nueva and all the pintxos bars. It's modern, clean, superb location, metro nearby, taxi rank outside, walking distance to everything. The staff are helpful and always have a smile. We loved the style of the rooms, very Scandi-chic and large space. The bathroom has a large walk-in shower and felt spacious with good amenities. Bed was large and comfy, and it all felt upmarket and well-presented. Would definitely stay here again.

The adjoining restaurant, La Palma, is very popular with the locals and tourists, however, we managed to get a table for two for dinner from around 9pm on a Monday night and the service from a particular waiter was absolutely terrible. The food turned out to be good, but only from a limited menu and no explanation whatsover as to why we only had a few options. Dirty wine glasses, no menu given to us after 15 minutes of being there, ignored for a long time – there was a lack of warmth from the waiter who seemed stressed and didn't create a nice experience. This has nothing to do with how good the hotel is, because Bilder Boutique is fantastic and one of the best in the city, but we would advise eating in the Old Town's pintxos bars and restaurants and avoiding La Palma and the awful, borderline rude service that we got there.

Best two star hotel I ever stayed at. Very clean, nice design, great location in central Bilbao. I loved it.

Bed and pillows could be more comfortable

The location is excellent: by the river and just in the beautiful old part of the City. All the tourist sights are within walking distance. The hotel was very clean and spacious. Receptionists very friendly and helpful. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room.Comfortable beds. Really good value.

The restaurant bar staff were extremely rude, ignored us and kept serving Spanish customers before us even though we waited patiently

Couldn’t be in a better location, stylish decor, friendly staff, immaculate rooms and bathroom, comfortable beds, and everything worked efficiently. Around the corner from a fantastic square for pintxos and food, but so quiet inside the hotel.Not sure how this is only a 2* hotel, as we have stayed in higher rated hotels before which were far worse. Really, really impressed with this find!

Lovely stylish hotel with great location and good restaurant.

Location is good in the Old City, adjacent the metro. Rooms and were great - large - comfortable - scrupulously clean. Cafe next door (attached to the hotel) was good. It's a solid standard modern boutique hotel with advantage of being spacious. Nice guest reception/sitting area first floor too which was welcome after a day in the city. It was expensive but to be expected.

It would be nice to have bigger meals variety for breakfast. There were only egg options to choose from and as a person who does not eat eggs I had nothing to choose form. Pastry and fresh juice were good though.
