Super comfy beds and large rooms with great views.

The location was very good for visiting the Lovcen park. Friendly and helpfull staff.

Once, in the past, it was an exclusive hotel but the years passed and now it does not look like a 4-star hotel, it needs a very thorough renovation . The rooms did not feel very clean, some of the furniture was in bad condition, the phones did not work, some accessories in the bathroom were broken. The showers were very small.The restaurant was average. For dinner the service was slow and the food was not exciting. The breakfast not good – no juice, bad coffee and no vegan options.The swimming pool was closed and the jacuzzi was cold.

Good hotel inside the lovcen national park, 10 min from the best view there 360°. Clean rooms and kind stuff.

It is the second time we are staying at this hotel. The hotel itself is new and beautiful. There are lots of facilities especially for kids - two indoor pools, kids playroom, and also outside playground. There's also very nice jacuzzi for no extra pay.Room itself is very comfortable and clean. Stuff is very nice and attentive. Hotel is also only 1 hour drive from tivat airport.

Not much to do in the place itself, unless you want to do some hiking in the Lovcen national Park

The “Spa” area could use significant improvement. Currently, it’s a large enclosed room with no windows, where all elements—sauna, Jacuzzi, storage room, and massage table—share the same open, wet, and underlight space with no separators. This setup compromises both comfort and hygiene.Another area that needs attention is the kitchen. There have been recurring issues such as burnt bread, overcooked eggs, undercooked pork, and the use of old oil for frying — all of which affect the dining experience.A major upgrade would be the removal of all carpeting throughout the hotel, including hallways and stairs. While the carpet may be intended to provide warmth during winter, it is not hygienic, especially considering the hotel is pet-friendly. Installing a proper heating system would be a much better and cleaner alternative.Overall, the hotel deserves its 4-star rating (or 8/10) due to the quality of the building, staff, and location — but there’s definitely room for improvement in some key areas.

Amazing location, great for exploring the national park. Apartment was large and spacious.

Some of the staff were quite blunt and unhelpful. Different staff told us opposite things. The decor and furniture is quite dated. Swimming pool was closed. Fridge hadn't been cleaned (mouldy food inside) or plugged in. Breakfast was very basic.

the room had lovely natural light in the evening, breakfast and the staff were nice. The surrounding and views are beautiful

the breakfast could be a bit earlier, the room was not that clean and poorly soundproofed

In the national park area

Not 4 star, more like 1.5. Very dated , worn, unclean & smells of cooking..

Good location, comfortable beds, nice restaurant area. The receptionist was lovely. Bar man/waiter was good, we had dinner which was OK,

We booked a junior suite, but got a standard double, it had left over food in the fridge, we complained and we're moved to a junior suite, we had a cot in the bedroom which we didn't want or book, which was later removed without letting us know. There was a kettle but no cups, coffee, tea, milk or bottled water (I did go and ask for coffee and was given 2 sticks of nescaf.) The carpets need a really good clean or even replacing ? We just had quilt covers on the bed, the quilts were in the wardrobe so we had to make them ourselves. After dinner we went to the bar to have an after dinner drink but the bar man was finishing his shift 9pm, and although he said he would serve us he also said we could ask the night security man (who I think was the owner) we still had wine left from dinner, so we finished that first, the at 9:20 we asked the night security man for a drink, he was very rude, said no and put all the lights off in the bar telling us it was closed!!! Unfortunately there was also no mini bar in our room either (stated there was on our booking), so we could not have an after dinner drink ?‍♀️ The TV didn't work properly, the phone beeped constantly so we unplugged it.At breakfast we got some water from the machine and there were ants in it, there was lots of flies in the bar and restaurant, both my husband and myself had upset stomach shortly after checking out and had to find a toilet very quickly!!So all in all a very unsatisfied

Absolutely bargain price (out of main season) for a large comfortable room, breakfast & dinner. Fantastic location in the centre of the high Lovcen national park. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

Fantastic Stay for Hikers and Explorers!We had a great stay at Hotel Monte Rosa! The staff were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to arrange taxis for us (which can be tricky to get at a good price in the area). They also provided excellent recommendations for local activities, making our trip even more enjoyable. The food was delicious, especially the breakfast, and it was the perfect base for our hiking adventures. If you're looking for a friendly, comfortable, and well-located hotel in Montenegro, we highly recommend this place!

Can't think of anything really - and certainly not for the price. Rained one day but they do have some facilities that you can use if there is bad weather (e.g. gym, sauna)

Dark and old bathroom

The hotel is approximately 5 miles from the Mausoleum and in the National Park, so is ideally located. However a lack of staff meant long waits for service in the restaurant and breakfast was poor. If you wanted a drinkable cup of coffee at breakfast, then it was an extra cost. Car parking is available.

Our en suite measured less than 1.8m x 1.8m so very very small and the shower cubicle was so small it was almost impossible to have a decent wash! Our room was wrapped around the lift and staircase, so had very limited space….but the hotel was not even half full, so they could have put us in a normal configured room. The swimming is unheated and the adjacent deck area is very run down and no bar service…..overall the hotel is tired

Green & quiet location, close to Lovćen and mausoleum, good food and basic room, but it provided all the necessary.

Service during breakfast was a bit messy eg. the coffee machine was not working, but it did not seem to be of great importance. Overall good food, but needed some additional time to decide what to order iso sitting down and ordering within the same minute.

Stayed for one night. Kind staff

Rooms were clean but overall property is quite dated and dirty carpets. Pool floor was smelling and is not inviting.
