staff very helpful, beautiful palace, very well maintained

Beautiful historic mansion with all rooms being different and a good European breakfast. The bed was comfortable.

There is no AC or fans so rooms can be hot.

Beautiful stylish older hotel that had lots of character. We had a balcony room that we loved because we stayed out all evening looking over the lovely garden drinking chilled wine and listening to music. The staff tried hard to communicate in English as we couldn’t speak polish very well.

We would have liked to have had a twin bath to soak in after a long days travelling. The Shower was fine but we would prefer a good sized bath.

Clean, quiet, no cigarette smoke. Bit of castle feeling. Very friendly lovely staff.

Amazing Victorian hotel, large rooms, ours included a large balcony, wish we had been there on a sunny day so could enjoy sitting outside.

More time to stay in the area and enjoy this place.

Beautiful old mansion with modern facilities. The organized very nice reception for our families with almost 30 guests.

staff didn’t speak English, the entire hotel was in smoke due to the use of the open fireplace, clothes smelled after smoke later. Heating was turned down everywhere to reduce costs, it was very cold in the hotel, apparently this is Normal as they discribed the situation. Stay away !

Location, facilities and cleaness were perfect. Breakfast was really perfect.

The restaurant didn't work at 9 p.m. when we came, thus we were not informed. Taking into consideration breakfast, dinner should be the best.

Can't say because i left the building after 20 minutes.

No one knew about my reservation and my arrival. No one spoke one word English or other languages except polish. For a Hotel really bad. I had to connect with the poor Wifi at the reception, so that i could use my google translate. But this was also not really helpful. I felt so uncomfortable with the whole situation, that i left the hotel after 20 minutes, even though i was really tired and took my 2,5 drive at home.

The hotel has extensive gardens which are beautiful and the hotel itself is well-maintained. The food in the restaurant is top-notch.

As an older property, the hotel has no elevator (be prepared for a lot of stairs) or air-conditioning. There are no toiletries other than soap so plan to bring your own. Little English is spoken, but you should get by all right. The only real reason to book here is that Stalag Luft III is nearby and worth seeing.

Beautiful old building. Huge room with sofa and chairs, a large bathroom and even a small balcony overlooking the garden. Amazing meal on the restaurant balcony.

Tea and coffee making equipment but no tea or coffee!

Very friendly and flexible staff, also for late comers and for two cats travelling with.

Due to traffic jams we arrived to the hotel after the restaurant had been closed. Despite that friendly staff organized a good dinner meal for us. We appreciated it very much.

The hotel was a lovely Victorian style building with a large garden like yard. Our room was elegant, large and lovely. The food was superior--exceptionally delicious, and the staff pleasant and helpful. We loved our stay there!
