Hotel Blaue Ecke

It is very clean, the stuff is kind. I asked for a little surprise for my boyfriend’s birthday and they prepared a muffin with a candle in our room and a cute post card for him.It was really nice! we are really grateful for that. It also has got parking!

The room was small but it was okey. Maybe it could be better with conditioner for people with long hair jaja. But it was really confortable!!

Everything was great, good breakfast, nice bedroom, great location

The bed were old and therefore we did not sleep well

Space rooms, decent breakfast and great location close to the Nurburgring.

The pillows on the bed were very soft. A firmer pillow option would be preferable.

Great location. Breakfast included was brilliant and the staff were very friendly.

Parking somewhat hard to locate. Rooms extremely dated with the white wall-paper yellowing with age. Could definitely benefit from a refurbishment. The ceiling light in our room was hanging out of the ceiling by wires and the lights in general were very dim.

nice clean room, good beds with a great shower. The hotelbar with beers and complementary nuts is very comfortable and friendly.

sadly the dinner-menu is nothing special/ very basic food. The look & taste of one of our chosen vega dishes was nothing more than sorry stomach filling. pasta was ok though.

Clean, central location

Menu more limited than it used to be. Bar/restaurant turned from being a nice family venue to a gay nightclub after 9pm, which was quite a surprise. Pimps with two very young sex workers were trying to ply their trade in the bar. Been staying at this hotel for decades, because of the above I won’t stay there again.

Perfect location for the Nurburgring

The hotel was in a perfect location, the staff helpful and friendly. Our room was spacious very clean and comfortable, There’s a lovely restaurant and bar and breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice

Great location, stayed here many times, Patrick and all his colleagues make sure you have great stay, breakfast is excellent. Handy for all the shops and restaurants in Adenau and also 10 minutes drive to the Nurburgring.

Having to go home?

Location was very central in Adenau and only 10 mins drive from the Nurburgring. Reception staff was very nice and helpful. I . Liked the old world charm of the original exterior of the building but the hotel part was in a much newer part so best of both worlds.

The car park was quite small maybe room for 11 cars and it's a first come first served basis. There is free on street parking overnight from 6pm which you can work around if you don't get a spot. There's a church directly behind the hotel which acts as an amazing alarm clock at 7am with its impressive bell chimes but didn't bother me really as I wake early anyway but may bother some?

Wonderful little hotel. Our three rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had the breakfast at the hotel and it was very good with a decent selection of hot and cold food. Open air parking for our mini-bus was on-site, in the back of the hotel.

Parking for the hotel was in the back of the building, accessible by a very narrow pathway between two of the hotel's buildings. For motorcycles (there were many) or small cars, not an issue. For larger cars, like our 9-passenger mini-bus, it was by far the most challenging to maneuver through, taking something like 10 minutes and countless "points" of turns (way more than a 3-point turn) and narrowly missing several parked motorcycles. Just something to be aware of if you're planning to park in their lot with a larger vehicle.Also, the rooms while more than adequate, we some of the tightest we stayed in during our 19 day European vacation.

Maybe just a touch pricey

Great location, room, beer and food. Perfect for a trip to the Nurburgring, Adenau is perfectly located and has everything you need. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Location for Nurburgring was good and the staff friendly. Lots of character

No air con and parking in the car park was problematic for a larger vehicle. The shower pressure was weak

Believe that most guests are there for racing in Nurburgring. If it is your case the location is just perfect. Not so far from the circuit, nearby some restaurants (they have their own excellent restaurant). Room is big, beds are comfortable, breakfast is very good.

Church bell chimes very early. It is not the hotel fault but it is annoying. Went during summer and there was no aircon, but it is normal in Europe in general terms. Parking space is very limited.

Great location and the restaurant was excellent

I last stayed there 10+ years ago and the rooms looked like they have never been decorated, it used to be a fabulous hotel but now without a major renovation it is simply not worth the money

Location is great, right on the town square and really pretty front to the building.Great meals at the restaurant.Good parking behind the hotel although it was just gravel rather than tarmac.Staff were friendly, room was very clean but could have done with tea/coffee facilities or a machine. Bath room was great.Bed was comfortable and room was quiet. Didn't try breakfast as we needed to be out early on both nights we stayed.Great for Nurburgring! Would stay again.

The hotel looks to be recently renovated and is very nice. The staff is friendly and professional. The interesting contrast is with the restaurant and bar. The contrast being very positive. It is an old restaurant and bar, with a lot of charm. The “patio” in front offers a great people watching location. The food and beer are excellent. Friendly and professional staff as well.

Parking on location is very limited (I was informed of this prior to arrival). We did manage to park on site each day, and public parking is not fair.
