    Pros +

    • Park Plaza is perfect for families or anyone looking for a relaxing stay. The property is beautiful with stunning greenery, beaches, hiking/running trails, and the area offers a lot to do.
    • We only stayed for one night, and I wish we would have stayed longer. The staff was very accommodating in helping us choose a late dinner location. Had we stayed longer, we would have spent more time at the pool and beach area. We hope to return in the future!
    • Lovely room in a gorgeous setting on the water. Nice big room. Friendly staff.

    Cons -

    • Nothing, all good.
    • * Hotel pool, unfortunately, (like the rest of the Croatian coast) suffers from “towel reservations”, that is, there are selfish people who put down towels first thing in the morning and then claim ownership of the chair for the whole day, even though they are not there for the majority of it. We were arriving at the pool mainly after our baby's afternoon nap, when the regular scene was 5-6 people in the pool and 15 "towel-reserved" chairs. I spoke to two members of the staff about it, and unfortunately, I got the impression that they are not willing to do anything concrete about it, which was rather disappointing considering “towel reservations” are explicitly forbidden by the hotel’s house rules for more than 30 minutes. But they were encouraging me to feel free to play "pool police" if I want, which I found bizarre.* The hotel advertises itself as a “100% non-smoking hotel”. Which is odd considering there were ashtrays on the balcony and we felt cigarette smoke from our neighborhood balcony intensely (so much we had to close our own balcony doors a few times because of the stink). That does not sound like "100% non-smoking hotel" to me.
    • The bed chairs get taken. Maybe need more of them.

Very comfortable rooms, but a bit on small side. Very clean and wonderful shower. Breakfast was very good, pool bar/cafe was good. Nice location in the woods with beach a couple minutes walk away. Felt very secluded. Nice promenade to walk along the sea. Pula about 15 minutes car/Uber ride away.

    Nothing, all good.

    * If I had to guess, I would say that I’m certain that it’s a hotel with four stars. Everything feels on that level. Cleanliness, interior, staff, and food selection. * Location is great, near Pula, but Verudela is also kinda secluded, so you don’t feel like you’re near the pretty big town. * Everyone on the staff has been great and really helpful (except for the pool problems that I described below)* Full board (we had half-board) is not possible, but the restaurant works “a la carte” for lunch. The number of food choices for dinner was impressive* The hotel has private parking, which is great considering the neighborhood is very touristy and there are a lot of people looking for a spot during peak hours* We were staying with a five-month-old baby, and the hotel was very flexible regarding check-out, which is highly appreciated from our side.

From the nice room, to the amazing breakfast, everything here was perfect.

The bed chairs get taken. Maybe need more of them.

Breakfast was amazing. The room was a bit small, now we did go with the cheapest room. The beach was great but it does get busy and you need to pay extra for the chairs and umbrellas. Overall it was great but I do think it was expensive for the facilities they provided.

Did not like the fact that there was no parking available at the hotel it was always full. I noticed that non-hotel guest were parking at the hotel, which I did not think was fair.

Near the beach, beautiful pine trees all around, walking paths.

Beautiful expansive property with great access to the beach

    - A bit confusing to navigate the property - I had to ask of a map which could have already been included in the welcome packet. - Unclear schedule of happening events but I could hear music/a concert from outside my room.

Beautiful, clean, great location to relax and enjoy nature and the sea. Breakfast and a la cart menu were excellent, buffet was average.

    Dinner buffet could better

receptionist and hotel manager were very unfriendly, and not cooperative

Breakfast, dinner and bar was amazing. Next to seashore. Walking in forest.

Rooms are little bit old. 10:00am check out time is really early.

Great facilities, room was lovely. Great for gluten free needs. Location was really good and was nice to have lots of outdoor space including loungers under the trees!

It would’ve been nice to know that we had booked in off season, and that some attractions and restaurants would be closed because of this.

Breakfast and dinner are superb with plenty of choices. Everything was very clean and the staff was helpful. We were traveling as a family with two little kids and plan to come back in the future. Both the beach and Aquarium are within walking distance.

The location is lovely, set in woodland, close to a private pebble beach. The food was delicious and the staff were lovely. Loved the yoga, real practice - not the usual fitness nonsense, and the deck built for it overlooking the sea and woods is really special. Great sunsets. A great feeling round the place.

The room wasn’t very big, sea view only partial and balcony rather tight.

I would definitely stay here again. The service was amazing! What I liked the most:- I was falling asleep listening to the sound of waves - Spacious and clean room- Very professional staff - Great cocktails at the bar- Private parking- Diverse breakfast - Beautiful cliffs and park nearby - A goodbye present- SPA

    - No shoehorn in the room

    Very clean & good breakfast

Not enough sunbeds for all hotel guests.. all of them have been ‚reserved’ very early each morning not giving a chance to use the facility for those who arrive at the hotel or wake up late. Location is not the best if you do not have a car. Pool is very small.

The location is lovely, very clean, just next to a beautiful rocky beach, close to multiple other beaches. The whole area is full of tourist accomodation so they only have 1 shop in walking distance, but there's a bus stop closeby which runs towards old town.

We honestly loved our stay. We came in September, it's possible that in high season there are too few parking spaces.

    9VahidPosted on: 10-6-2024

We had a night over Pula (late evening flight) in late September and when we checked in, we were told that we were there for the last day of the season and they were going to close the hotel next morning at 10:00 am until next year. They had a very good breakfast considering it was the last day of the season!

The check out was 10:00 am (but I think this was because they were closing the hotel for the season).

    10MartinPosted on: 9-23-2024

We got a really good price for a stay in late September and were super happy with the room, especially as we got a room on the 4th floor with a view over the sea. The beach was a few steps away and really good and the amenities throughout the hotel were excellent. The pool was clean and large. The breakfast was one of the best we've ever had with anything you could possibly wish for!
