Good hotel for relatively good price. Everything you need is there. Conditions of stay are fine. Switzerland is very close to you, and staying there would be much more expensive.

The time when reception is working is very limited. So I asked for a self-check-in and I got the information where my key would be. But hotel made a mistake and put my key into the wrong key box. Or informed me about the wrong key box, doesn't matter. So when I arrived, I found the key box empty, no key inside. So I experienced an additional stress to find the way to check-in the hotel in the late evening when reception is closed. I totally understand that mistakes also happen sometimes, we are human but nobody even apologised to me... Even I apologised them (I don't know why I did it because there was no fault from my side, but that was my reaction when I met the hotel staff in the morning) - and I was said "that's fine". Strange... Well, at least everything was fine with the room, so no other complaints.

The Managers were very accommodating in every aspect to checking in, safety of our bikes, laundry, keeping goods in the fridge for us.They went above and beyond, exceptional service

Perhaps the best hotel property in Laufenberg - riverside terrace restaurant, promenade, easy parking. Access to local shops.

good location; pleasant room with view of the Rhine, beer garden by the river,

no tea making facility; only shower, no bath; no smoke detector, long route to escape in case of fire; always cooking smells in hallway outside the room.

Ask for room 12, it's huge. Shower was good but a little awkward getting in. Had dinner overlooking the river in their beer garden. Very good Greek menu.Secure garage for our bikes. Directly on the EV15 (EV6)

quiet, great location and the restaurant was very good

The hotel is situated next to the old town, free parking in front at night (until 9:00).Welcoming staff at reception and restaurant.Nice room with view on the river Rhine.In the morning, no need to wait for warm water to reach the shower.

The "main" light in the room was a bit noisy. Luckily the lamps on the bedside tables could be used instead.As it seems normal for Germany(?), the walls could be a bit more soundproof.

We had the very large unique attic room with skylights. Hotel located just outside of the historic walled district of town beside river. Nice location

Room furnishings were maybe a little tired but fitting of the price charged.

Our family overnight stay was very good, the food at the out door restaurant was excellent as was he breakfast the following morning in the hotel.Room was clean and comfortable and parking for our large vehicle was accommodated on site with a lock up for our bicycles.All together a pleasant experience.

No aspects of our stay were unacceptable and staff were helpful and pleasant.The only thing my girls didn't like is the carrying of their bags up the stairs as there was no lift.

The view from my room is good. The room is quite spacious & quiet.
