Very conveniently located near the ferry, Rhine River and the highway. Lovely bright, clean and comfortable room. Great shower facility!The outdoor cafe across the road was very good and younger staff there very nice

They seemed very busy when we arrived but the hostess did find us a parking spot pretty quickly. Once we were shown our room we didn’t have much interaction with the hosts, even the next am at breakfast. The breakfast was just ok - not very fresh fruit and the meats not great quality., limited assortment of breads.

It was a very pleasant little place, and the owner was very kind to me.

Just bring earplugs to any of these little hotels near the trains of you are easily awakened by that

Wifi was really bad ..we cant even connect to it. The location was not so good because of the trains passing by and it's loud.The Breakfast was not good . not much choices and the kakao that we requested tasted differently. i dont know if the milk was bad or what but it was not good.

Nothing- overall appalling service and the worst experience with a guesthouse I have ever had

By far, my experience with this guesthouse is the worst experience I have ever had in all my years of traveling. Despite having both fully paid for my room in advance as well as writing beforehand that I would be arriving between 18.00 and 19.00 hours and receiving confirmation that this was ok- the hosts had given my room away before I arrived. Worse still was the rude and aggressive attitude from the host on my arrival. I arrived at 18.45- exactly at my expected time and was greeted with accusations that I shouldn’t turn up so late. There was no apology for giving my room away and while the host did organize a room for me in another hotel, the interaction was so unpleasant I was almost in tears leaving. Furthermore I had paid for a double dulex room specifically for the washing machine facilities advertised and instead I was given a room with a single bed in another guesthouse. No offers of any kind of refund was made. I met three German ladies in this guesthouse who were also hikers on the Rheinsteig and had the exact same experience with this guesthouse with their room given away before they arrived. I would caution hiker who might be doing long distances on the Rheinsteig and therefore may arrive a little later to avoid this place as you cannot be guaranteed a room when you arrive.
