I had a wonderful stay at the Park Hotel Hammerberg! The hotel is cozy and beautifully designed, with attention to small details that made my stay extra special. I really appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the shoe horn and the small sweets left in the room. The daily cleaning service kept everything spotless, which was a huge plus. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always making sure I had everything I needed. Overall, it's a lovely place to relax and enjoy, and I highly recommend it!
An oasis of tranquillity in a busy industrial area - peaceful & surrounded by a lovely garden. Very helpful and friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Plenty of parking.
Rather difficult to find, up a narrow & steep lane.
Staff were very helpful. They advised us where to eat in the old town of Hammerberg which is a 5 minute walk from the hotel via the churchyard. Everything in the hotel was spotlessly clean and beds were very comfortable with crisp white bedding. Breakfast was exceptional. So much choice and the care and attention given to the presentation was amazing. We stayed here 1 night on our way home.
Great and tasty breakfast, awesome location, friendly staff, parking in front of the hotel directly, great value for money.
Nice and quiet location
Parking, even free and available but on the hill, a bit challenging to park there
Staff was very friendly. Breakfast nice
A bit worn down in general. My room was hot and humid, the air was really heavy. TV and Wifi not at 2023 standards and not suitable for work.
The hotel staff were great. We were on a bike tour and I left two locks behind me. They posted them to my home address.
The area to store the bikes was in a side passage. It was secure behind a locked gate and covered with a perspex roof, but very narrow and not many bikes fit there. In total there were 3 bikes there and that was about that could fit there.
Good staffs. Good breakfast. Wonderful surroundings.
Better go there by a car, not to walk, because you need to climb up a sharp slop.
The location of the hotel is perfect, on a small hill, surrounded by greenery, the staff is very kind, the room is clean and bright, minibar available, the delicious breakfast can be served inside or outside, in the hotel's garden which is very cozy.
lovely staff. Very clean room. lots of space . nice sauna . comfy bed.
No tea or coffee in room
choice, quality , freshness of breakfast buffetkindness, hospitaly and wish to assist by hotel management/reception
what we didnit know was that Stolberg has been flooded in a tragic way so that what should be a shopping centre streetis now a ghost town ( disaster in 2020/21 ) with finance support by EU in full renovation Of course this has nothing to do with the quality and location of the hotel and the historic beauty of Stolberg Burg and churches .
Lovely facilities, breakfast and location

Great location for all my needs (museums, historical sites). Staff friendly and very helpful. Room was clean, quiet, strong Wi-Fi signal and TV had abundant channels. Breakfast was delicious and filling. Hotel provided a secure space to keep my bike. I highly recommend Romantik Parkhotel.
Plenty of parking (albeit on a slope). Breakfast was good. Genuinely near to town, although steep uphill walk back so you need to be fit.
The room decor was tired and dated. The hotel was expensive for what it was. To make matters worse, there seemed to be an attitude of everything costing extra. For example, there was a bottle of mineral water and 2 glasses in the room, which looked good until we spotted the accompanying notice saying the cost was 3 Euros. Either provide the mineral water free or don't put it in the room at all.Reception staff gave the impression they didn't care. When booking in, we were told about using our key to get in after the front door shut, which in itself is perfectly normal. I then asked what time the door shut, which was answered by a shrug of the shoulders, which isn't very helpful. When checking out, the receptionist was more interested in whether we had had anything from the minibar than whether we had had a pleasant stay. The reception was also unattended at times which is offputting. The only opening window was the door on to the balcony, which wasn't great - you either had to have the door open or sleep with no ventilation. The hotel restaurant wasn't open for dinner. It was very difficult to find anywhere to eat in town - there are basically only 2 restaurants. One was fully booked, the other squeezed us in.There is nothing to do in Stolberg. This is not the hotel's fault, the town (as we found out) was flooded a year or two ago and was completely devastated. So nothing is open. As noted above, this made it very difficult to get anything to eat.
Actually everything was perfect. The cleaniness was exceptional, the breakfast was amazing, the location is quiet and nice, the staff is very friendly.
Staff very professional and friendly. Good breakfast. Fascinating little town with loads of history. Nice to have the balcony to sit and enjoy the sun. Good parking. It’s good to be a fan of Romantik hotels - without their book/ website I would never have found this place. I have never been disappointed with a Romantik hotel. All have really good standards.
Fabulous location very quiet and beautiful garden.Super comfy beds and a great selection for breakfast. Also a mention to the staff who were great.
There was no aircon which didnt bother us but for some people this could be an issue.
