Hotel Am Moosrain Garni

Location

It’s a self serve hotel, no one is there to meet you after 3:00pm

Stayed one night for airport transfer... a mature couple. The hotel was all new, perfectly clean, excellent facilities.....good bed and great bathroom/ shower.Close to airport....good parking.

Nothing but fields around there.Hotel was automated....we saw no staff on site.Closest gas station and food/restaurant services ( ex airport ) were about 10 km away.

Have stayed here many times, all for the same reason. It's the best value around. Great breakfast, clean rooms, attentive staff.

Can always use a little a/c.

room was very clean and comfortable10 minutes from the airport

Fantastic breakfast and great host! Outstanding selection and presentation with extra effort and lovely ambiance.

Practically no public transport connection. Had to walk to a neighbouring town to take a train to Munich.

Very clean. Easy check in. Comfortable beds. Convenient to the airport. Cute town away from bustle of Munich.

So quiet and comfortable with great breakfast close to the airport by taxi ! Nice little village for a stroll!

Breakfast, facility, near the airport

Modern quality decor with thoughtful consideration given to every aspect of the accommodation. A supurb simple breakfast that could match some five-star hotel standards..Added with helpful friendly service, this was the best airport acomodarion I've experienced.

The rooms are new and well designed. Breakfast was good. Really close to the airport.

We got at around 8-9 p.m. and there was no staff and it wasn't easy to understand how to get the keys (we didn't have local calls). I booked 2 rooms several months ahead and specifically asked they will be next to each other as we are with small kids but we got room on the first floor and on the third floor and there was no one to provide assistance. They didn't even apologize for it.

The hotel is well appointed and very clean. It is located close to the airport. Breakfast was incredible! I highly recommend.

Quaint village. Modern amenities. Cozy and clean. They had an elevator!!

Everything was excellent

The most amazing breakfast, extremely helpful staff that really helped with a number of issues unrelated to the stay, very comfortable, quiet and clean facilities.

Cosy friendly breakfast ladies were very good breakfast was exceptional. Close to the airport

I liked everything it is our second visit

We liked everything - room size, location, cleanness.Breakfast was very good. The lady in the kitchen was extremely kind and friendly.Late self-check-in was easy, thanks to instructions sent by mail.

The room was without air conditioning. In the winter it was OK, but could be problematic in the hot season.

Breakfast was great, staff very pleasant. Locked ourselves out of the hotel and was resolved very quickly . Short walk to a gasthof for dinner.

We had noisy room neighbours but it did t spoil our stay.

Clean rooms, very comfortable me!

I chose this hotel because it was close to the airport. However, Ubers don't frequent this area and they have ONE taxi company they used. The taxi company was one HOUR late and I almost missed my flight. This is literally my only complain; but kind of an important one since most people likely stay here for the location,

Close to the airport, quiet countryside neighborhood and breakfast was pretty amazing.

The hotel was nicely located in a small town, not very far from Munich Airport. The hotel was very nice, the rooms were modern, and very clean. The morning breakfast was great and the restaurants located close by were traditional Bavarian style.

Nothing bad to say.

Disappointing

The electric kettle did not work and we had arrived after midnight. The next day when I reported to the staff that the kettle was not working the woman acknowledged that she knew it was not working and just said "sorry" This is very poor in my opinion. Electric kettles are relatively cheap items and readily available. The other problem we experienced was getting access to the lock box that contained the room key. This could only be done digitally that required data on our phone or wifi. We had arrived from Croatia late at night and had no sim card or data and no access to the wifi on the premises. It was very late and cold and we were stuck outside until some other guests arrived and helped us out.
