ibis budget Givet

Breakfast

Two times Fire alarm in one night and no explaines what is THE problem is a pitty.

Room and ensuite clean and comfortable, but a bit cramped (one small table top). Staff friendly and professional. Self-service breakfast good enough. Free parking on site, WiFi good. Hypermarket (Intermarché) and supermarket (Lidl) both five minutes walk away. Have stayed several times previously.

Bashed my head three times on the underside of the third bed overhead - it's too low.

Arrived late to unmade bed and sheets and pillow inside a bag. After late arrival, cleaning lady woke up the family (two hours prior to check out) claiming to have not see the do not disturb sign on door. The room was not very clean and the shower had no pressure.

Very basic, budget hotel in a beautiful location, good breakfast and everything you need for an overnight stay.

I didn't like the plastic sheet on the bed, I would remove it next time.

Came on a bike packing trip. Bike was allowed to be put in the room, very friendly staff, good breakfast and great service overall!! Lidl next door, McDonald’s nearby. Not too far from the town center by bike, although it’s a little far on foot.

Kiçik qəsəbədə yerləşən sakit bir hotel. Yolüstü qalmaq üçün uyğundur. Bir gecə qalmaq üçün bütün uyğun şəraiti var. Pulsuz parkingləri var.

Location is fantastic. Easy to get to the town center by short car ride as well as many hikes. Also great that it’s dog friendly.

Air conditioner didn’t work

Good breakfast, nice view, good location, if shopping is one of trip goals.

Room was clean and spacious. Everything was easy and team was very helpful and friendly. Location was good, we had enough options to eat, despite arriving late. Shopping centre in front of the hotel is a plus, as is the aquapark. Great value for money!

Toilet flush would fill up quite slow, but that was about one thing which we can pinpoint.

For one night, it is ok. We just sleeped there as a stop while we were driving up north. The room was ok

spacious and clean room. Excellent breakfast. Very surprised for the price of 9 Euros. Good coffee (yes, in France!). Lots of breakfast options, like waffles. Beds are ok for a lower budget chain hotel. No real EV options (well 1 Tesla charger in the back), but McDonalds 200 m away has some fast Chargers. All in all: will be back

EV charging very limited, but, alternatives possible

Mouldy bathroom ceiling

Black mould on the bathroom ceiling as well as a water leak. It looked to be an ongoing problem and the room should not have been in use until fully resolved. Unfortunately, we spotted the problem too late to request a new room. The staff member was unconcerned when I raised the complaint the following morning at checkout.

Good price, clean room, free parking. Everything what you need for the overnight stay. Would highly recommend

Bed could be more comfortable.

Staff welcoming and friendly. Plenty of free parking. Room was small and clean. Beds good. Bathroom small and clean. Shower itself has no shower door so careful not to make floor too wet. Under shower the panel was loose and some cracked tiles on the wall. Toilett is separate from bathroom. Good value for money overall. 5min drive to town We had breakfast in town so no rating for the breakfast here.

Bathroom had a loose panel under the shower pan.

Free parking with plenty of spaces in the outside carpark. Quiet location with a supermarket nearby. The room was a good size, bathroom was nice and the hotel was clean. TV in the room, good heating and comfortable bed.

Check in was poor. I arrived during reception hours but no one was there, shutters were down and reception closed. I rang the telephone number on a poster that said to call for staff but it wasn't answered. Waited for around 15 minutes before another guest called the staff member as they were friends and she told them I was waiting. No apology given. Self check in machine out of order. Too many posters printed around reception and front doors making it hard to know which ones to read if needed. When you get to your hotel you just want to check in easily but the wait here was not good.

Clean and fresh air, nice staff.

Very small rooms and bathroom.

The room was enough for our family, with just enough room to walk beside the beds. Location is very good. Lidl and Mcdi is close by.Very good hotel for its price.
