- The most remarkable thing about this hotel was the staff. They were so helpful and friendly. The location was right across from the beach with a beautiful view.
- Staff was wonderful. Kind and helpful. Room was larger than expected. Price was very reasonable.
- It was a lovely resort with good amenities and the restaurant food was very good.
Cons -
- Breakfast was not good.
- Sea view was not as described. Overlooked back ally dumpsters with some view from side. Photos showed roof top terrace for dinner. It looks as if the roof top has not been open for quite some time. Very misleading.
- We only stayed one night on our way back to Rome so didn’t have the time to enjoy the resort amenities, also it took a while to get to the hotel once we went off the main road.

Our stay in Smy Civico Zero was enjoyable. We stayed as a couple for two days. It was very good for its value. They upgraded our room for free, which was very nice of them. Our room was comfy, very big and mostly clean. The balcony was huge, we didn't have a sea view but still the view was great. The restaurant was good for dinner, we didn't need to go out of the hotel to eat, the service was fast. The staff was extremely nice. The pool was good enough with bar service. We overall enjoyed our 2 day stay.
We thought that the hotel had a private beach of its own but the beach in front of it does not belong to them, it's a separate private beach with 18 euros per day. I'm writing this because we had a confusion but it's okay if you know beforehand. We didn't go to the sea because both beach and the sea didn't look nice. The bathtub in our room had some stains. The area of the hotel is not the best so I recommend hiring a car or using a taxi because it was secluded. There is almost nothing around but this is probably the best hotel you can get in the area.
Unexpectedly good hotel for a reasonable price. Nice lobby, great stuff, especially the reception guys. I stayed with a kid and they upgraded our room to superior- it was huge! You could dance there... also huge bed - 3m wide. Close to the sea and a restaurant has a sea-view terrace, was very pleasant to have dinners there watching a sunset. Fresh orange juice for breakfast. We had only breakfast included, but always stayed for dinner as well as it was really good. There is also a lovely garden where you can chill all day long - with swimming pool, bar, trees and hammocks. In general- during this trip we stayed in 4 different hotels in different parts of Lazio and this one was the best and not the most expensive.
The beach is volcanic black and not clean, same as the sea. We preferred to stay in the hotel's garden... Faraway from everything, especially if you don't have a car. Breakfast was good in general, but ham was not eatable, same for scrambled eggs. There is a shuttle bus to the train station which goes like once in 2 hours, right before the train, but... it just arrived 20 minutes later, so we missed our train and had to buy the new tickets and stay with a kid at a station for 2 hours, where there is literally nothing- nice cleaning guy gave us his own water... better ask for a taxi at reception, I wish they suggested us this option
The size of the room, and the balcony. The air conditioning unit
The most horrible fridge I have ever seen in a hotel. It is a very small cooler that doesn't even fit a bottle straight up.It barely keeps water cooled, and doesn't have a freexer compartment at all.Honestly shocked to find something like this in a hotel room. The bathroom sink, the shower, and the bidet were all clogged and the water quickly backs up. So quickly that you need to turn off the water to prevent spill over. The breakfast and bar situation is atrocious. It's actually not something they seem to care about. There is a nice looking bar inside the reception, but they apparently only keep it open when it rains. Otherwise the only bar available during the day is in the pool area outside, and sadly it is absolutely barebones. They have nothing available there. The location is unfortunately quite bad because it is completely isolated and far from the more interesting areas in Tarquinia Lido (there is a river that separates the two areas, and it makes travelling impractical on foot)The streets in the neighborhood have an incredible amount of speed bumps, and you'll find yourself having to drive over them often since there is very little to do there on foot.Lastly, the sea water in the nearest beach is quite dirty because of the river being right there close to the beach.Given all these considerations, and given the price of the hotel, we were completely unsatisfied overall
ve If you’re looking for a very secluded place with nothing nearby, then it’s a very nice spot. The hotel is clean, a bi
Friendly staff, nice room and good location
A nice hotel room with balcony n sea view an hour North of Rome - great bed, great staff, great breakfast
It wasn’t right in the beach
It was private and secluded, footsteps from the beach.
The location would be fantastic IF they offered a shuttle from the Tarquinia statzione. The buses do not take you to the property so we had to walk a mile with 2 big Checked bags and 2 carry ones and a personal item. NOT IDEAL to start off a trip. :(
Location and the condition was excellent.
A bit difficult operating the hot tub and the outdoor furniture was difficult to get in and out of.
Location on the waterRestaurant for dinner was lovelyThe pool area was large and resort styleOur room was large and had everything! And the staff were extremely accommodating and friendly
The WiFi was definitely not high speed and kept falling out
The service was wonderful and the food was delicious. Ana was a sweetheart and made us feel very welcome.
Its off season in that compound, and it was odd to see almost no one around when we came in. Nothing else going on around the hotel in the office season. No coffee or kettle in the room. Hotel is above average in decor and facilities, but not super luxury either.
Modern very clean half board option was great value for money the staff were excellent especially ana
Location a distance from the town
The attitude of the staff and the service was kind even though we arrived late at night. The room was large, clean and spacious.
Unfortunately although the breakfast was generous with a variety of foods there were cut fruit and vegetables with mold.
It's a quiet beach town. Reception staff, cleaning staff and restaurant staff are all great and friendly!
I expected a better view. Really only the top floor has a decent view. I had mostly a view of an abandoned lot with junk in it in front of the ocean. Unfortunately I was there the first week of september and the pool staff seemed ready for the season to end. They do not offer any beach facilities which I was unaware of when i booked.
I liked the pool and the garden with sun loungers. The rooms were also very nice.
The fridge in the rooms was very small and cooled poorly. Breakfast was monotonous, but there was always something to snack on to start the day.
The hotel was lovely, the staff incredibly welcoming and friendly and the facilities were great. Our room, a family room, was huge, divided into two sections with two bathrooms which made our teenager very happy as he had his own space. The room had a mini-fridge, a safe, a coffee machine and air-con. The beds were comfortable. The swimming pool was great and breakfast was a really good buffet spread. The restaurant was good too. It is literally a stone’s throw from the beach, and also a public beach is very near too, just a couple of hundred metres along, so the choice was either to pay to hire a sun umbrella and sun loungers (€21 a day) or walk down a little and not pay at all. The beach is nice, with dark volcanic sand and it was clean and well kept. The little hamlet that the hotel is in is very sleepy which suited us fine. All in all a really lovely stay!
the receptionist was very frendly.pool and garden was nice and clean. but the beach was dirty and not worse of getting into the sea.
hotel restaurant was under everige and too expensive.
Big & delicate rooms. Very friendly staff/reseption ang good breakfast. A big pluss that check-out was 12.00. We could use pool & facilities Even after checkout, which was very Nice. Relaxed athmosphere.
Beach was not excellent, area around a bit wire down.
