Helpful staff, nice rooms, situated opposite the point of departure for kayaking down the river.

Bit of a stiff walk in to the attractive small town. Rather gaudy decor.

Lovely hotel and very well located for the river and kayak hire.

Confirmed two singles but provided one double.

We arrived here when it was very hot so the pool area was a welcome relief. We didn't see any pool towels available for use which was a shame. The hotel is only a 15 minute walk to town and all the facilities there.We did eat at the restaurant and the food was decent.

Location great for canoe trips and easy walk into the town. Fab pool.Always room on the loungers. Reception staff very helpful. Spoke very good English. Very helpful booking taxis etc

Not sure if rooms upstairs are more expensive but upstairs rooms have seperate balconies and more privacy.

A convenient location just walking distance to the centre and a very friendly welcome at the reception. Rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious with good disabled access throughout and outdoor terrace or balcony. The pool was a decent size and great to jump into at the end of a hot day. We were impressed by their trust in guests to write down things they take from the fridge, and pay up later, or when checking out. We were also impressed by the generous and tasty breakfast, well worth the price. A very easy place to spend a night. Two nights would have been better. We will be back.

The only thing we found a little frustrating was not being able to control the Aircon properly. There was no remote and the only way to change the settings was by pressing the buttons on the wall, quite high up, not so convenient in the middle of the night or for someone elderly or disabled.

Everything was great. staff smiling and helpful. Owners present and so nice. Room small, but comfortable. our view was onto a fence, but little terrace was nice. Pool area and grounds extensive and pretty. Restaurant was pleasant and food tastey and regional . Breakfast was copious with great seemingly homemade madeleines. Even a basket of small croissants on front reception for snacks.

Lovely helpful staff.. super meal in the restaurant. Great pool!
