Le Belvedere

The place is gorgeous. The hotel is in a very nice spot only a few steps away from the river and a short walk from the pont d'arc. Good food !

Nothing really important

Despite the unfriendly atmosphere and the disappointing dinner was the stay ok - the hotel has potential with its nice pool and the location near the Pont d’ Arc.

Location

The restaurant was closed and when I asked for alternatives I was told that there wasn’t anywhere in walking distance. I asked if I could buy nuts or fruit or a salad but they said that they had no food. Having cycled 130 kilometres I needed to eat. There was in fact a simple restaurant just up the rd. I have cycled the whole length of France and this was the worst value, the breakfast was 20€ and nothing special.

The staff were lovely. The location is amazing. We walked to some lovely restaurants and to the pont d'arc. When we stayed in the hotel the pool was beautiful and the hot tub was perfect at night. We enjoyed a dinner in the restaurant best tuna I have ever eaten!. Thank you for a wonderful stay

Excellent stay. Very friendly ladies behind the desk and bar. Charismatic owner, ready to help. Beautiful location, lots of parking space. Clean spacious rooms. Large breakfast that runs till 11. Good, clean and entertaining pool area. Alot of activity in aalking distance. Will hopefully come back in the future!

Limited a la carte dining options so we opted to eat in town. Didnt bother us because we wanted to explore a bit anyway.

paid E175 for a small room with no view of the Gorge, no water, no tea/coffee, broken sliding door to bathroom, poor quality towels, only one towel provided. Just not good enough for the price

Location. Just opposite Pont d’Arc. Room ok, a little aged especially the bathroom. Food average. Easy parking. Pool looked good but no time to use it.

Location has a price. Expensive in season.

Beautiful setting. Lovely outside areas. Amazing mountain views.

Lovely location in terms of being 1 minutes walk to the rock arch over the Ardeche river. We are in on the first night and the food was good, the restaurant was shut the next night so we walked down the road and there are other places to eat there. Also handy for kayaking the Ardeche as it's a short walk from the hotel. Plenty of parking, breakfast was good and plentiful. A nice place overall.

Glad to have a first floor room with a view of the gorge.

Didn't know their restaurant was closed on a Tuesday, but there was an excellent Restaurant du Village 10 minutes walk up the road.

Our room had all the amenities we required and walk in shower!

While the breakfast buffet had good quality produce we felt it was a little over priced.

Thierry and his team made our brief stay a delight. Personal service and a constant attention to detail make Le Belvedere an excellent place to stay, or to visit for a meal and drink. Wholeheartedly recommended.

Fabulous location, great storage for bikes, good breakfast (but expensive)

Patio door didn’t lock ( poor security), shame the restaurant is shut on Tuesday even to residents!

Evening meal was very overpriced as was breakfast. The interior decor was rather bizarre with too many giant teddies!

Sadly we had a bit of bad luck with this hotel. First we want to say that the staff was always very friendly. We do not have any complaints here! We did, however, expect a bit more for the price. The dinner and breakfast was very simple compared to the price, not really worth it. The hotelier recommended having a drink on the terrace before dinner. We waited about 40 minutes and only were served after asking about it twice. They were short staffed and did their best, so that was just what it was but not the best experience. The staff really did their best! Dinner was sadly a bit disappointing. It didn’t taste bad, just wasn’t worth what we paid for it… the air conditioning in our room didn’t work. The breakfast was really basic and not worth the 20 euros... At check out they had charged more cocktails to our bill than we had and we had to recount the check ourselves a couple of times before it was right. Just all in all kind of a downer of an experience…

Very welcoming friendly staff on arrival, rooms were large, comfortable with excellent facilities, outdoor seating areas ambient and perfect for an evening wind down

We were only there one night, but breakfast may of benefitted from freshly cooked options, but this is purely down to taste as what was available was more than enough.

Breakfast was OK a bit expensive for what it was

Keep windows shut at night and use air con ,lots if knats in dining room during diner

Beautiful location with fantastic view from the room. Pont d'Arc is 10-15 min walk (paved walk way until the point one wants to descend to the river) or 20-25 min to the other side of the arch where on dirt road the access is less steep.Room was a bit small but we had a big balcony. It was too hot to for us to sit out from 3pm when the Sun shines under the overhead cover. It must be really pleasant in spring/autumn to enjoy the afternoon sun.

Aircon was too noisy. But fortunately the nights were already cool enough to keep the patio door open.

Stunning location, excellent restaurant at the hotel, very good buffet breakfast, clean and comfortable room, very welcoming staff.

Nothing disappointed us.
