Beautiful property set in a serene spot. From the reception, room, trails, golf, spa & restaurant everything was wonderful. Great staff!

The building and grounds are breath taking. The breakfast was wonderful.

The mattress in the room was horrible. Also, no electronic charge station was available.

Rooms were large and clean; Infinity pool was fabulous, staff was outstanding, restaurants delish, and trails so nice!!! Loved everything about it!!

Clean, comfortable and a nice spa facility

Too many staff training and overpriced. Didn’t like children running around the bar at 11:30 at night.

We enjoyed everything the resort had to offer. Rooms were very comfortable. Food was delicious. Infinity pool was relaxing. Hydrotherapy rooms were invigorating. Setting was gorgeous. Staff were genuinely helpful.

It was all great but the roads getting to and from were an “adventure.”

Beautiful view and trails. Exceptional spa facilities and adult areas. Great for families and children as well.

I liked everything the only thing needing improvement is light coming under the door.

This hotel was the perfect spot to stop over driving from Kinsale to Dingle, to drive the Ring Of Kerry without rushing. Beautiful property and hotel. Room was big and filled with light even on a cloudy day. Awesome scenery! Great walking trails! Excellent service! Friendly and helpful staff! Wonderful meals! Nice sitting areas to relax inside and out! Felt like staying in a castle.

Many beautiful walking trails. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast options were plentiful and delicious. Dinners at the restaurants were excellent. Live music in the evening was a nice touch.

I booked because the web site indicated a salt water pool and I was surprised to find it was fresh water

The Dinner was not good value .

Hotel itself is spectacular when you arrive and the remoteness was ideal. Pool area and infinity pool was exceptional with the water heated and all facilities in perfect condition. We didn't get any treatments so can't comment there. Breakfast was lovely and plenty of food with excellent table service. Lunch and Dinner were only ok and not what you would expect for the prices so not a good review here - not that there was anything wrong with it but just very ordinary for extraordinary prices. Location is lovely and the walks and views around the hotel are like nothing else you would find.

Food at lunch and dinner could be better for what you were charged - we paid over €100 for lunch and nearly €200 for dinner for 2 courses. Found that €14 for a glass of wine extortionate and €17 for a cocktail if you wanted one a bit steep.

    Great location Very cleanBrilliant staff

We were on ground floor, kept awake by squeaking floor boards upstairs ,TV cables very untidy(flung behind cupboard)Buttons missing of sofa

    Spa and restaurant.

Rooms were not worth 375. Couldn’t not open windows (felt anxious of this of H&S risk if there was a fire - room 226). I think check in at 4pm and check out at 12.30 after paying 375 euros is extortionate….. hardly any time to enjoy the room. Waiter in the restaurant was amazing. Good food good cocktails.

The walks were lovely dinner, and lunch was gorgeous

The bed was uncomfortable, and the breakfast was not nice atall

    10JoyPosted on: 4-19-2025

I had stayed before and it was the very high standard that I expected. The bed was so comfy and the pillows soft and downy. I had to stop myself from bringing one home..

I did have a bit of disappointment on the second night for dinner. I ordered the Lamb two ways I think it was called. Whenever I have had similar it had included the lap as this did, but this time it was pure fat and almost slimey and not crispy which is what I would be used too. Also one cutlet was very little meat and a lot of fat. However, I was offered a complimentary dessert which I very much appreciated

    8JakePosted on: 4-19-2025

The location is unbelievable and the staff couldn’t be more friendly

Infinity pool is supposed to be adults only but there was a lot of parents bringing young kids into the pool, only for short intervals but was still very disruptive and ruined the experience
