    Pros +

    • I am a frequent traveler. Hotel is excellent in all desired service respects: cleanliness, location; responsive, helpful and very friendly staff; excellent breakfast buffet with all manner of wonderful options options, including champagne.
    • Exceptional staff & Beautiful facility!
    • Friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Nice bath.

    Cons -

    • Front room so close to church very early bells. No AC, we had a front room that took a very long time to cool off after the sun set. Ceiling fans would be useful to move air.
    • It's a little past its glory years, but that is also part of its charm. Small niggle, there where no wall outlets next to the beds.
    • The room did not have enough space for clothing lacking wardrobes. When booking an evening meal, it was at the sister hotel at the other side of the town, which was a decent walk. It's not good if the weather is bad.

Very Spacious room. The view from the room was spectacular. 10mins walk from Niederbronn station. 5mins walk to the Christmas market ,the Casino and Chalet / Le patissier des thermes. Very good breakfast. They have bacon and Champagne for brekky which I really love.

The hotel itself was very nice with good decor. Its location in the town was perfect with a short walk to the centre .

The room did not have enough space for clothing lacking wardrobes. When booking an evening meal, it was at the sister hotel at the other side of the town, which was a decent walk. It's not good if the weather is bad.

All the people that were on staff are wonderful. Helpful, Caring and totally enjoyable. I would stay there again without thinking about it just because of the people. Breakfast was a delight!

Summer needs more than just a fan. Lucky a storm came and cooled the room.

    Location

Clean, very good breakfast and a good room

    8DanielPosted on: 4-24-2024

Parking lot is just at the front of hotel entrance. Room is spacious and comfortable. Breakfast needs a new and more French like premium concept.

    Very Disappointing

    - Room stunk of cigarrettes- No one at the front desk or answering phone past 23h despite being informed otherwise- WiFi broke off constantly- Old springs mattress- In order for the radiator to work the curtains had to remain open

Convenient location and good value for money with wonderful staff.

The property is quite dated including carpets and bathrooms.

    5DanielPosted on: 7-27-2023

    Location was quiet

Certainly not 4 star, old fashioned and in need of renovation

It was not the first time we stayed at the hotel. So that speaks for itself. The lady at the reception this morning extremely helpful and patient. Lovely spoken english

Breakfast room was a bit crowded. Eggs and bacon not hot enough.

Lovely hotel and staff in a delightful town. Restaurant in sister hotel has excellent food and good ambiance.

    The weather!!!

    7WinePosted on: 12-28-2022

Grand Hotel directly <within 200m> facing actual Casino in a little town where a century ago was a thermal bad resort.

The building is really old, with very thin outside walls, and in winter it is cold in rooms, while a small heater wasn't able to warm it up, just made air dry.
