Hotel Le Beau Site

Decent location, about a 5 minute walk from the nearest lift, on the Auris satellite resort of Alpes dHuez. Can also drive to Les Duex Alpes in 30 min (a better resort in my opinion). Breakfast was well prepared.

Rooms are very small and dated, they do efficiently manage the space. The carpet and bathroom are also slightly below the standard that I would expect for a hotel. I don't think it would cost much for the hotel to update some basic infrastructure. Lighting in the room is also fairly dim.

Reception lady and waiter was very friendly! Food at the restaurant was fantastic and will definitely be back. Ideal location for summer and winter!!!

The room was not cleanded after previous guests. The sheets were not changed in one bed. Used and wet towels in the bath

The place, the atmosphere, the staff, the dinner and the breakfast were excellent.

The only thing was the balcony that didn’t close properly

Breakfasts were very good (variety and quality of the food and beverages offered), dinner options were also great and meals were delicious (we had pasta with ragout and salmon with veggies) and beers were refreshing.Service during dinner was great and employees were checking on regular basis breakfasts if there is everything and also notified us in advance when the buffet was about to be finished for the day.Rooms were cleaned every day and we had a great view with balcony to the mountains. We would say, enough equipped for few days stay and quiet.

Location itself is not convenient if you are not here by car as there is no public transport so the only option is taxi which is quite expensive (we paid 100 euros/average per ride to get to Alpe d'Huez) and if you need it during peak season (in our case Tomorrowland) it's very hard to get some and taxi drivers are hesitant due to very narrow road and serpentines in high altitude.

The website gave us a location but when we arrived we were told it was 300km away...a place with the same name....they refused to give us a refund

Our room was too small and the shower was dark.

Very good value with an excellent breakfast included. A small balcony with nice view. Plenty parking.

The entire hotel is closed until 4pm, so no point in arriving before that. This would not be a problem IF it were noted in the booking.com information, but it isn't (the rest of the village was also dead apart from one cafe). Otherwise nothing to dislike.

Sink maybe too small

The staff went out of their way to accommodate me despite late arrival. They were extremely friendly and customer service orientated, being welcome, exception in the French speaking region of the alps.

it is an older property and facilities, like bathrooms could need an upgrade

The ski lift is literally behind the hotel.They have a nice bar/pub.Brakefast was amazing.

dining area pleasant and bright. Bar cosy. Good food - they did a very good Christmas meal. Menu varies a bit and have regular bbq Thursday- good value. Breakfast sufficient for most tastes.

We stayed here to watch the Tour climb the Alpe d'Huez. Had we asked or researched more, we would have found out there was a chair lift to the top of the mountain we could have taken instead of using our own transportation. Oops! Breakfast here was amazing, a perfect European breakfast. The restaurant was nice, lovely views and the employees were delightful. The menu was nice and they had a Bastille Day BBQ as well while we were there.

The house wine wasn't great which was disappointing, cause... France=wine. Extra charges were put on our room but after pointing them out, were quickly removed and the situation was remedied.

Beautiful location, friendly and accommodating staff and a very nice breakfast with lots of hot and cold options. The room was good size with a balcony.

The room was somewhat basic relative to the cost with functional features. Power sockets relied on extension leads and/ or getting behind furniture.

Wonderful hosts and fine restaurant. Other places in location served simple pasta and pizza but in this hotel restaurant was excellent with delicious food!
