Everything was amazing! The location, the hospitality, food, fire, wine, atmosphere….VIRGINIE is the most incredible host and the other VIRGINIE is equally as amazing! We felt like family….which made it hard to leave even after only 5 days! We will absolutely, certainly be back! Auberge de La Foret made our family holiday one of the best yet. Thank you - your auberge is beautiful and what you have created is wonderful. We loved it every minute!

Our family had a wonderful stay at this cozy auberge in the snowy mountains. The location is stunning, offering peaceful views and a truly charming atmosphere.The host was incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. Dinner was delicious and satisfying, and breakfast had everything we needed to start our day well.It’s a perfect spot for a cozy family getaway, and we’d love to return!

The only small downside was that the WiFi wasn’t the best. However, to be honest, it encouraged us to disconnect and enjoy the serene surroundings even more.

The people running the hotel were AMAZING. So friendly and hospitable. Incredibly dog / animal friendly. Would definitely recommend this location.

It's a five minute drive to the ski lift which then connects to Alpe d'Huez (understandable considering the price-quality of this place, which is great!).

A good selection of food for breakfast and fantastic evening meals. Friendly staff and wonderful location. No onsite parking but that was for all of the village due to its location.

Stayed for one night enroute to the south of France. Amazing views from the balcony of our room. Excellent hosts with good food in the evening and for breakfast.

Wonderful locations, perfect for me as a cyclist who wanted to complete Alpe dHuez. But I'm sure many people come here for the wonderful mountain scenery. The host was exceptional, catering to all my needs and allowing me to store my bike in the hotel. She also tolerated my lack of French. Room was a nice size, with a comfortable bed and excellent shower. Breakfast was typical for this region, and also very nice.

Nothing in the accommodation. Only issue was getting there, if you come via la bourg-d'Oisans then avoid the route that takes you up the start of the alpe dHuez climb , as the road is very small and really quite dangerous if you don't know the area. Instead take the D1091 to le freney d'Oisans and go up from there, much better road.

Location, parking 400m away and steep narrow roads to negotiate. Lack of instruction NOT to drive to the hotel. poor staff communication, restaurant noise and smoke. Small room without sufficient seating. Very small shower

Lovely clean property set into the hillside. Stunning views and lots of parking a short walk from the house.

Very enthousiastic & friendly owner.Very good dinner meal (demi-pension); also the breakfast was certainly ok.The room was certainly large enough with very good beds.Also in summer a very good location for starting hiking trips or cycling challenges.

Incredible nice staff, dogs and owner! We were the first guest of the season and had the hotel for ourselves. Not even the cook started so she made us the best dinner and breakfast. The location is superb for hiking. Lots of trails and super to hike during summer. You can start at the hotel and walk for hours. Beautiful view from the room. Parking at the towns square. Easy access to the hotel.
