Best Western Hotel Viterbo

This hotel has everything that we needed. It was a pleasant surprize. Safe parking behind the bar in front of the reception desk and a restaurant we liked nearby. I think we were lucky to find this place after we were tricked by another host to pay for an accomodation that had no parking even though they lied to have it, so I had to cancel it but the cancellation was not accepted!!! It seems Booking.com can do nothing about cases like this

The hotel was lovely. The staff helpful & pleasant.

This has happened several times to us in Italy: we can’t find the places where we want to stay because the signs are small, missing, or covered by plants & trees. It’s very frustrating to drive around & ask people, especially in a city, for assistance when with a little thought & larger signs we could find the hotel ourselves. The only visible sign for the Best Western was the word “HOTEL” in huge letters on the side of the building and a tiny sign we could hardly see when standing right beside it.

Breakfast is very good at this hotel and staff are very friendly. They are also very helpful. Rooms are nice and spacious.

This was not my first stay at the Best Western Hotel in Viterbo. I traveled with my wife and daughter. Valentina and the other staff members were exceptionally professional and courteous, as usual. The breakfast was very good, and our room was clean, included a balcony, and was very quiet. The downtown area is not too far from the hotel, and there are several restaurants nearby for dining.

Staff - super professional and helpful. Location - excellent for exploring Viterbo and as a base for visiting Rome.

No pool ;)

The hotel and it's staff were fantastic. The rooms were clean, the breakfast had plenty of choice, including bacon and scrambled eggs along with a full continental selection. There were great restaurants close by as well as a small ish shopping mall with a supermarket.

Air con seemed to be intermittent but not a huge problem

Newer hotel. Very clean. Staff very polite and helpful. Providing advice when asked.

Perhaps a few more hooks in the bathroom would help to hang multiple towels.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was good value for the money. Also, having the parking (paid) at the front door was a bonus. If you go to Viterbo for the Papi Spa only, then this might be a good place to stay as you need to drive to the spa.

Location was 1.5km from old town which means you have to drive into town. At night this was OK but during the day was somewhat difficult.

Although not inside Viterbo center. This is easily reachable by car. Free Parking available in the surroundings of the hotel as well as at the entry to the center

Sound proof no good. Can hear everything from next room through connecting door and from corridor too. Doors need soundproofing.

A little difficult to find.

We were looking for a modern hotel with good facilities and parking for our car. Room was good, spacious bathroom and good breakfast room made our stay here very good.

Located on the edge of town, about a 20 minute walk to the medieval centre.

It was a great place for an overnight stay, comfortable & clean.

When we booked the hotel was full and apparently we had the last room that was with disabled bathroom/wet room.

Paid parking but close by free street parking. Breakfast was good

Very close to main Riello bus station so great for cheap day trips by public transport to Tuscania, Caprarola, Montefiascone etc or to other destinations. Supermarket and shopping centre nearby. About 20 minute walk to Porta Fiorentina or use bus. Clean, modern and comfortable with courteous staff and a room safety deposit box.
