Relais Santa Caterina Hotel

Excellent service and welcome by Salvatore and his team. Authentic Italian touch with a family environment twist. The team made us feel at home while preserving our privacy. The facilities are great and clean and large. The hotel also has many Italian guests for internal tourisme, which increases its trustworthiness.

I tried all day the day before my arrival to contact the property to assure I would be accommodated for a late arrival, as is their policy, and no one would answer. We heard from the hotel late in the day of our planned arrival by which time we had to make other plans. We were unable to cancel and was not given a refund after contacting Booking which contacted the hotel on my behalf.

Staff very helpful and very attractive property

Unfortunately we were in the cottage in the garden and it hadn’t been used for some time. When we went in it smelt of insecticide which took a while to go with all the windows open The food was very basic I suspect because we were very early in the season only the manager there and cooking is obviously not his forte. But he did try very hard n

We were here last weekend and the pool was not yet open, pity. Good breakfast.

It was so relaxing, out of the city noise, evrth unique . Receptionist Karina was very pleasant and helpful. The food for dinner was amazing, so delicious and cozy...homemade cakes for breakfast

Ikea bed not the most comfortable bed on our trip but lovely looking room.Very clean, decent bathroom.Meal at hotel substandard, we ate there following rave reviews and as we so liked the staff couldn't face voicing our dissatisfaction ar the time.

The staff was very kind and we received a room upgrade for the first night. The hotel is conveniently located nearby Viterbo, Tuscania and Bomarzo, which we visited by car during our two-night stay.The surroundings are quite serene. We woke up to the sound of animals outside, which is nice :)

The breakfast is in Italian style, meaning lots of sweets with little savory foods. We were happy with the yoghurt, but the breakfast would be more complete for us with fruit, cereal, egg and dark bread.The room where we slept during the first night (upgraded) was excellent. The room we originally booked and where we slept the second night was less comfortable, due to the cold stone floor and the lack of natural light.For a while during the morning there was no cold water, which meant a scalding hot shower. Fortunately, this only lasted for about 10 minutes.

Something could be improved; like availabilities of teas, eggs for breakfast and better restaurant menu

we found the host a bit too pushy to our taste, aircon did not function well

Dissapointing place with zombie staff

Breakfast was very dissapointing, and all the staff i met was very strange and not very confortable to be around. Pool not working and the room that i booked was not the one that i got, or it looked very different in the pictures. The room was very dark.

The owner was very polite for any need, as well as Alessando during the dinner.Clean room, nice place.

Excellent breakfast spread! Welcoming and helpful staff. Awesome property! Would highly recommend.
