About
In the historic town of Spoleto, San Luca is a charming, family-run hotel set in the grounds of a former convent. Breakfast and drinks are served in the floral courtyard. Rooms at Hotel San Luca are spacious and air conditioned. Decorated in pastel colors, they come with a marble bathroom and a mini-bar. Some have a hydromassage bath or balcony. Guests can admire a number of original features in this historic building, including the 18th-century fireplace in the lobby. Breakfast is buffet style and includes homemade cakes. During summer, it is served in the courtyard. Spoleto's historic center and its cathedral are just up the hill, a 10-minute walk away.

- The courtesy of the staff.
- Very clean and comfortable room, courteous staff, excellent breakfast
- This hotel was in a great location near the Posterna walkways taking you up the hill. The staff were very helpful and accommodating, the breakfast was delicious and the room was large and comfortable. It was home for 4 days!
Cons -
- It was not as close to the old town as I would have liked. The breakfast did not feature any hot items. It was not possible to get your own coffee.
- Not on the property, but it seems the whole city is under construction, therefore some roads are very narrow.

The classic upscale hotel in special Umbria town with the great breakfast.
The beautiful hotel in a great location to access charming Spoleto with terrific staff.
The hotel is next to the escalator leading to the old town. The property has a lot of charm and is very well decorated with antiques and has a very personal look and feel, unlike luxury hotels that can feel either trendy or impersonal. The hotel has a lovely courtyard with chairs. My room had a little Juliet balcony on a very quiet garden. very good breakfast with homemade cakes and pies.
The location is near the escalator to the old town. The hotel provides a parking garage adjacent the hotel. The hotel breakfast is robust although scrambled eggs were always served cold. All plants inside pots in the hotel are dying and never watered. Pure neglect by staff. We asked for additional toilet paper and were initially refused and actually I was asked Why do you need toilet paper? I responded to wipe after using the toilet. I agreed to no daily room service in order to receive more needed toilet paper. The staff speaks very little English. Wheb I asked for more coffee packets for the room I was denied and only 2 packets per day were allowed to me but I had to wait a full day before receiving each packet. Staff is arrogant and stingy and a cheap attitude. I do not recommend this hotel.
Stingy staff. Refused to give us additional toilet paper until I agreed not to have maid service for our 5 day stay. Breakfast was cold, coffee was cold. No English spoken. . Very little if any. All plants inside hotel are dying and never watered. Neglected. Look for a better hotel with a good customer service attitude. These two men owners were condescending and arrogant.
Frederica and her husband of 25 years at the front desk were absolutely wonderful. They made the difference. Very kind, helped us navigate the old city, made reservations at a beautiful out of town lunch and arranged covered parking. Even allowed 9 AM checkin after drive from Gubbio.
The reception staff were not very welcoming ..until we were about to leave...The breakfast staff were lovely!!Beds were hard but the mattress was changed on my request which I appreciated!
We arrived at 11pm. No problemo for night manager. Comfortable room.Large choice of excellent food at breakfast.Comfortable lounge area. Everywhere well decorated in typical Italian style.Helpful cheerful staff.
Breakfast was great and lady who served us each day very friendly and helpful
The staff was professional, very helpful and always appeared happy to help us. Breakfast had many choices and the service staff was quick and efficient with our coffees. We had drinks at the bar one evening and enjoyed just sitting in the lobby area which is nicely appointed. The town of Spoleto has a network of moving walkways, elevators and escalators to access the main tourist areas which in some cases would be very steep if on foot. The hotel was close to the access point for all of these mobility options.
Wish we could have stayed longer.
great location. excellent staff excellent breakfast. really good spot to center out of.
vintage, authentic feelingclean bathroomamenities were well preparedbreakfast had a lot to choose parking was convenient, right inside the hotel
So much charm, very Comfortable room, luxurious bathroom, wonderful breakfast, perfect location!
Upgraded room was large and fantastic. Location near the walkway was great. Attached parking made travel very easy. Front desk was always helpful.
Breakfast was not very good. And there wasn't enough hot water in the shower
Quiet, spacious, comfortable
A bit far from the buzz of Spoleto
