Hotel Clarici

The location is superb coming from the train station. The room was very harmoniously done. Amazing how the small room was optimized. It's also soundproof. The staff was very friendly.

Great location. Clean and welcoming. Secure and good bathrooms. Reasonable continental breakfast. Nice coffee. Solid building. Shutters and blinds on windows. Good sound insulation.

Squeaky dipped old double mattress with a bar in the middle of it. Only sheets and a light cover. No blankets.

This is the 3rd year we have stayed at the Hotel Clarici as my husband participates in the Spoleto Norcia bike race. The location is fantastic, right next to one of the main squares, near to transport options and with it's own carpark (€8 per day). The staff were all very pleasant and helpful, especially the owner Carlo.

The shower head did not work properly.

The location is good and the staff is very nice. The room was clean.

Very noisy. 3 hours straight of door slammings on all floors until midnight. Old furniture and rugs. Bad cappucino at breakfast.

The breakfast was very good, a very range of food to start a day.

My only concern was one morning there was no coffee, I was told this was because there was no water which seemed a little strange. I definitely would not let this put me off or fromrecommending to others.

I love everything they are very friendly,thanks to all the stuff. I love it.

Very central loacation. Friendly staff. The owner actually drove one of our party on to our next accommodation after he was finished serving breakfast. A lovely touch.

We were leaving much earlier than when breakfast was available. We did ask if we could get a little packed breakfast as we were able to in several other accommodations but this service was not available here.

The staff were quite helpful. A couple of things were not working when we arrived, but were fixed right away! Very nice place to stay for exploring Spoleto!

The hotel is very cozy and I felt entirely at home there. Was intending to stay 1 night but stayed 3. Location is great, my room was overlooking the square and had a nice view towards the castle and hills. The room had a desk and chair which I always like to have, and the bathroom had a tiny stool which fits in the big shower and makes it easy to wash your feet well.The staff was so sweet, they were all super friendly and good people! :) The English isn't perfect but there were no issues with communication we could understand each other no problem, even though I asked quite a few things. In short, the place is super charming and I'd definitely stay there again.

There was a funny issue in my bathroom, there was a bidet that got in the way of the door opening and closing so I could only close the door with a lot of pushing :D That was funny rather than anything. The actual problem was the fan in the bathroom didn't work well so all the humidity stayed in. Luckily it was still quite warm when I visited so I just kept the windows in the room open and the bathroom door open (it was hard to close anyway). However it is definitely not nice and not healthy to have all this humid air, especially if you want to shower in the evening and stay in the room after. They should definitely fix the fan.

we tested positive for Covid while staying at the Clarici and the staff could not have been more helpful by calling a doctor for us, picking up breakfast, lunch and dinner for us and medicine the doctor prescribed. the staff went out of there way to help make us comfortable. thank you so much.Diane Mulshine

Wifi unusable in the room, had to switch. Shower drain clogged and overflowed out of the shower. Air Conditioner not allowed because it was the month of September, no matter what the actual temperature outside was This mad it difficult to sleep as I had to choose between opening the windows and hearing outside noise of the street + street lights, or closed windows and hot room. No kettle in room. Would not stay here again (coming from someone that is normally pretty easy to please).

Location was excellent, breakfast included eggs and fresh fruit. Our room had a nice view with a balcony, and the room decor was updated. The staff was always present at the desk and helpful. We loved Spoleto so much we extended our stay one night.

The location was fantastic, right in the city centre. The breakfast was quite plentiful with a good choice. A big thanks to the lady who was in charge of the breakfast room (who also had to double up as cleaning staff)

The cleanliness of the hotel was non-existent, especially in the public areas (the carpets were all stained and filthy). The manager wasn't very receptive to our complaints. There were not enough cleaning staff to keep the hotel in decent condition.
