Friendly staff, clean and beautiful facilities

Not great lighting at mirrors for my wife to do makeup

Hotel was very comfortable.. food was good.. staff were lovely.. we enjoyed our stay and would come back..

My only problem was the bed was very soft ... if that could be a problem.... I hav a bad back...

Great location at the top of the high street, lovely building, great staff, and excellent restaurant with delicious food.

I didn’t feel like my room was clean - there were black hairs in my shower and a bug with lots of legs crawling around, which made me feel quite queasy. When I told the staff, they did offer me another room.

No air conditioner. Pipes make a lot of noise throughout the night.

I liked the ambience, quietness of my bedroom, food and friendly staff.

So clean, staff were exceptionally friendly, we were visiting for a nearby wedding and the team facilitated an early check in for us saving us a lot of stress and hassle - much appreciated!

Cosy...not small..nice bar and bar food. Plenty of parking out back.

A lovely hotel in a great location. Our room was spacious & comfortable. We enjoyed breakfast, lots of choice & friendly staff. We also had dinner in the restaurant & the bar, a great menu & superb food. Having onsite parking was a bonus. All in all a great stay & will definitely be back.

Lack of control over the room heating, seems to be on a timer, room was very cold when we arrived and we had to wait for the timer to kick in before we could turn on the radiator

The receptionist on check in was not very friendly and we had booked out nearly the whole hotel with friends and family. The receptionist on later that day was very nice though. Its expensive for a small town but location you cant beat.

Great location for guests attending a wedding at Cabra Castle. Special appreciation for Aileen at the reservations desk, who could not have been more accommodating and kind as we had numerous changes to the numbers and types of rooms and some special requests that she had probably never encountered before! Aileen made a stressful time (planning an overseas wedding) so much smoother -- her professionalism was greatly appreciated! The hotel is a boutique property in the heart of Carrickmacross, with easy access to any services you may need, and the onsite restaurant is excellent!

the rooms were clean and comfortable, with good size bathroom and tea and coffee facilities available

the Bar was under construction which meant that another room was used which was not as comfortable

Beautiful hotel with a great location.

TV screens showing football in every part of the bar, a quite area would have been nice.
