Friendly staff, warm, comfortable room. Good breakfast.

Food fantastic, beautiful and clean hotel and bedroom.

Small niggles really. Bathroom towels too small, could probably be bathsheets. Chairs in bedroom could be more comfortable.As said really small niggles, everything else beautiful.

The waterfront location provided stunning views and the central location made it easy to walk anywhere in Killybegs. Also I enjoyed getting refreshments at the connecting bar/restaurant.

No free breakfast. Also only one bed in our room. The new carpet made me sneeze and also in the little tea breakfast area there was no plug for the electric tea kettle.

Staff are extremely helpful and friendly . Steak on stone was unreal

Very well located and central to attractions. Hotel was fantastic with lower bar and great atmosphete and live music. Food was lovely

The heating in the room was weak and it was cold at night, but the auxiliary heater was a great help.

Recently renovated and the rooms were very nice .

Unfortunately the water was cold in the morning so I had to have a cold shower :-(

Location was wonderful, we had a beautiful room with a seaview. Staff were so friendly & helpful. Food was very good & service excellent.

Second time staying and rooms starting to wear already. Bathroom grouting around shower tray damaged and not clean.

The hotel was lovely, breakfast was lovely & very nice staff

The hotel seems to have been nicely refurbished since my last visit 3 years ago.The reception staff were most welcoming and helpful. My room was nicely fitted out with all the essentials and I had a great view directly over the harbour and the fishing fleet. The ensuite was spic and span with a good powerful shower. The bed was comfortable, but see below.

The pillows were a bit too thick for me so that I found it difficult to get my head and neck into a comfortable position.

The Tara is a newly renovated hotel in a wonderful location with free parking available adjacent to the hotel. Very well appointed large room with a lovely view of the water. Helpful staff, great restaurant for all meals, separate bar, spotlessly clean- it was excellent at every level.

Lacked mini bar fridge in room, bed firm & not very comfortable, Polycotton bed linens, poorly designed room lighting, breakfast buffet could be a lot better.

Great location in centre of town overlooking harbour.Really nice room, recently refurbished.Good quality and value food in the evening.Breakfast menu - great choice

Nothing to dislike

The room was fresh and large. There was a good place to use the hairdryer with a mirror and we had a nice corner room. Breakfast was also great and we also ate dinner in the hotel one of our nights...It too was also excellent. The front desk and restaurant staff were also really helpful.

It would be awesome if there was a top sheet in addition to the duvet as the duvet gets quite warm. However, I know that is common and everything was great and I would stay here again.

Told the just had a major renovation which is just beautiful. Rooms exceptional! Nice restaurant bar & breakfast room

Great location, very warm welcome, clean and comfortable room and a good hearty breakfast. What more could you want?
