The property was in a great location a 2 minute walk from countless restaurants. The property was comfortable, the breakfast good and parking convenient.

Charming hotel close to great restaurants. We purposely stayed here because they are dog friendly and we wanted to go to Pascià Glam Dog Beach several km away.

Nothing, we were pleased with everything.

The location of the hotel was perfect - on a quiet street, but close to everything. The staff was very friendly and answered any questions we had about activities or getting around the town. The rooms were very clean & the breakfast was excellent.

The locals tell me Albergo Italia is the best hotel in Piombino, and I think I know why. It's been here a long time and while it's an old hotel in a small town, it has everything you need and the service is excellent. I had an excellent breakfast and one day I woke up late and missed the regular breakfast time but the two ladies downstairs waited for me and let me have breakfast one hour after the close time. I had a misunderstanding with a service that was supposed to come to the hotel to pick up my suitcase as I was traveling alone and had difficulty with the luggage but when the service didn't show up the owner of the hotel kindly offered to take me to the station himself and gave up a Sunday morning to help me out. Things like these make all the difference in the world. They clearly care about their customer. The hotel is just as someone asked described, an old style hotel, and do not expect any luxuries or frills, but it was cozy and very comfortable. if I have any complaints it's only that the bed was a bit firm for my taste - although that's pretty standard around here. I honestly felt like I had everything I needed and felt very safe. The location is superb. You couldn't ask for better. This is the place to stay if you are staying in Piombino.

The hotel is right in the middle of old town, very convenient for shopping and dining. The owner was very friendly and gave us a great welcome and explanation. Everything worked out fine, and we have enjoyed the stay. The hotel is cozy and has a very warm atmosphare with a charm.

Perfect location with lots of bars, restaurants and shops within a very short walk. So was the ocean. Hotel was very clean. The air conditioning worked perfectly. In the very best way, it felt like an old fashioned, European hotel.

It is not modern - which we found charming.

Highly convenient location. It is on a quiet street in old Town, only 5 min walk to train station. Breakfast was abundant and varied, and rooms were clean with an old world charm. Polite staff. Would definitely stay again!

The location was excellent; not far from the station or the sea front. The breakfast was really good

The location is perfect, it's like in the center but remarkably quiet. The free parking spot in the garage is a nice plus. The staff was very friendly and courteous.

The pillows were hard as wood and somehow we expected to have something to seat on in the Junior suite. There are only two chairs in the entrance, but nothing to seat on, like a table. You have to sit on the bed, that was a bit an disappointment.

I had forgotten the specifics of my reservation - one out of about twenty (+/-) stops on this trip - so I was embarrassed after eating unpaid-for breakfast. Well, that's OK - me the typical dummy, but eight Euros, for a cup of coffee and a croissant? No problem but I skipped second unauthorized breakfast. Really lovely, helpful people but my major beef were the cheap, cheesy plastic bathroom cups- real glass would be classy upgrade. I'd come back next year if I can afford to.

Right in the centre of Chianni and perfectly positioned for bars and restaurants. Beautiful hotel- we were allocated a lovely spacious room overlooking the front. Very comfy bed and updated bathroom. All facilities spotlessly clean and the staff very friendly. We will return for sure.

Close to centre close to station. Clean and comfortable, economical and staff really kind and helpful

It was easily accessible from the train station and near the centre of the city with the restaurants.

Desk open 24/7 as I was traveling from Isla d'Elba and needed a quick place to stay for the night. A/C and wifi was awesome and staff was very friendly. Unfortunately did not have time to eat breakfast the next morning.
