Staff were friendly and very helpful! Receptionist spoke very good English and was nice and accommodating! Totally loved the place and had our best experience here and in the High Tatras and will be back for sure!

Excellent place. Breakfast was wonderfull, the staff was caring, and gave good advices about hiking - the weather conditions were challenging, it was heavy rain and snow. We could even buy crampons.

I did not expect that the hotel is in the national park....we really enjoy the view and hiking, but unfortunately on second day it was snow day there. . And we did not prepare a proper outfit. The lake, the mountains are beautiful. Lucia and the other lady at the front desk were very helpful and kind. The food was excellent.t.

They need more activity besides hiking, it will be more fun if they have kayaking at the lake ..

The food, location, and tidiness of the rooms

The location of the hotel can't be beat. After a long day of hiking in the mountains, the hotel is a refreshing welcome. The sauna (needs to be booked in advance) was rejuvenating, and helped recover from hiking. Dinner and breakfast were delicious

Great location for day hikes. Clean room with nice lake view. Outstanding breakfast. Good dinner meal and drinks selection.

Very expensive for a simple room.

The view here is STUNNING. The food is also pretty decent and convenient. But more importantly, you can eat it while looking at the beautiful lake.

The rooms are nothing special, but they do everything you need them to and you are there for the nature anyway.

The propery location is excellent?

Unfortunatelly, despite the room for four costing neaŕly 400 euro jusr for two nights, it lacked a badic anemity - electric outlet. This meant we had to get creative just to charge our phones.

I'm giving this propert 10/10 because I was there in early February, I stayed in the dorm, so there was no one around, I stayed all myself in the room for 4 days so had no issues...

...BUT if there were more people staying, possibly during summer days, it's a real problem as there are no sockets in the room, just 2 USB chargers near the door and that's all, also the fridge in the kitchen is too small and for food you either have to eat in the restaurant or take food for microwave with you which I doubt that'll fit in the fridge with many people. Other than that there's nothing to complain really.

We really enjoyed the panoramic view of mountains and fresh air. The location of the hotel is great for lovers of hiking and mountains. We also enjoyed an extensive variety of choices for breakfast.

The hotel is quite old, but partially reconstructed, could use a full reconstruction. We received a small and smelly room at first, then we got an upgrade to a better one.

Location was great, staff well trained & really helpfully. Food was ok.

In rooms was missing hairdryer (was available at reception) there was no phone, didn’t get offer for luggage to be brought to the rooms so my senior parents had to help them selfs. Missing lift. No drinkable water from the tap. On the top of the price for stay you have to pay for transport €10per person for one way or you have to walk around 5km. (Kinda understand as that is National park but still very expensive) Car park €15 one night for city Poprad. Very overpriced food & drinks!

Fabulously located guest house, just next to the Popradské Pleso. It is a good starting point for hikes, although many hiking routes are closed at winter time. The hotel was not accessible by car (it is an hour long walk from the nearest parking place). Although, one can order a drive to the hotel, but we didn't try this service.Our room was spatious and comfortable, with a lake view. A good restaurant and bar belongs to the accomodation. One can use the sauna and jakuzzi, which is in a good state, but for a high price.The staff was always very helpful.We had a wonderful time here.

The location was amazing! The room was fine. very basic but that’s what we booked. Unfortunately we didn’t have lake view.

The food in the restaurant was gross and doesn’t get prepared freshly.

It is located in a very nice place in Tatra’s national park, the food was absolutely delicious, the staf was kind helpful.

It’s not reachable by car, and it’s necessary to book a transfer to reach this place.It’ s true we arrived in the evening, otherwise it’ reacheable by foot.

The place is awesome. View is amazing and it's reallly easy to get to this house. Clean, calm and comfortable accomondation. Food & drinks are also good.

1. There is only one socket for the 8-people room. It's not enough for this large group of people2. The water in the toilet is flowing non-stop and because of this the persnel turns in off at night. The source of problem needs to be fixed. Just turning off the water at night is not a solution

This was my second time in Horský Hotel. Only the second time I took advantage of the breakfast included in the price. My companion and I were pleasantly surprised by the buffet. Had it not been for the vision of going to Rysy, I would have stayed at the table much longer;)

To repeat myself, this is the second time I have had the pleasure at this venue and I still don't see any negatives. Keep it up.:)

Great environment and stunning views. Close to the lake. Big building with all facilities. Fantastic breakfast! Clean, spacious room. Night guard gave us keys after 22:00

Far from parking and pricy transfer. Not locking shared toilets!
