This hotel was great for our 2 nights in Macerata. They offer parking which is helpful although it's tight. Breakfast was a nice option to make mornings slow and casual. Owner even made fresh cappuccinos each morning. Happy with our decision to book there.

The rooms were a little sparse and the pillows were quite firm.

The location to the historic core of the ancient city, on-site parking and owner-operated.

The hotel common areas as well as rooms are in need of renovation and upgrading. It is impossible to use GPS and drive to the hotel. Luckily, the owner Giorgio helped us. Thank you.

It was centrally located and the directions were clear. Even included “if ZTL active, go this way directions included. Parking at the hotel garage was available and the owner parked and retrieved my car. The rooms were very clean. Very quiet. The bed was large and comfortable. Bathroom very clean. The little mini fridge was stocked and the prices were very very reasonable. 80 cents for a bottle of water. 1 euro for coke and fanta. Breakfast was standard small Italian hotel. Not huge variety but perfectly adequate. Real cappuccino made at the bar. Five minutes walk to the Opera venue. Easy strolling through the historic center. There are many restaurants to choose from within a five minute walk.

Nothing at all this is exactly what every small private hotel should aspire to.

The location was absolutely superb, so close to the Sferisterio, and close to the city centre. Good breakfast included. We had a large comfortable room.

The room was dark and poorly decorated with a wall in front of the window.

The location was fantastic! The breakfast was decent with good options, also gluten-free. Rooms are standard Italian-size (somewhat small) but the balcony was great, looking over the picturesque buildings ahead.

The staff upon check-in did not offer any info regarding the facilities, breakfast, wifi, etc. - took our documents and handed us the key. We found a sack of trash in the corner of the elevator. Upon arriving in the room, the bathroom was strangely dirty with what looked like pieces of construction debris, and paper trays (?) . . . we cleaned it ourselves with one of the available towels. Importantly, the WIFI connection simply does not work. Spoke to someone at the front desk who told me it was "strange", since the hotel pays for the WIFI. That was unfortunate, since we needed to work during our stay and were ultimately unable to do so.

Helpful and friendly staff. Good breakfast. Excellent value for money in a very interesting town.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast included in price. Decent sized room and bathroom,which were clean. Minibar in the room. Great air conditioning. Excellent location for events at the Sferisterio arena.

The containers with the hot food for breakfast were almost empty. I went down about 5 mins after breakfast started and was only the 2nd person present, so they should have been full of hot food.

excellent helpful staff with a terrifically stocked breakfast that featured lots of choice. Excellent location in the heart of town. Even went the extra mile and drove me to my bus connection early on a Sunday morning

single room was a little narrow and bed a little short for a big/tall guy like me

Super comfy bed, maybe the best in my entire traveling history! :)If you're visiting a performance in Arena Sferisterio, Arcadia is hillariously close so you get there in a blink of an eye.The receptionist is kind and helpful. :)

No complaints except for a missing chair on the balcony, that would be great to just sit and chill.

Very good location in the centre of the old town

The wifi was a bit slow at times, or did not work for a few minutes, perhaps because too many customers were using at the same time?

Very friendly and helpful manager that gave us excellent directions to arrive at the hotel in the heart of the old walled city. Perfect location with parking onsite for €8 per day. Breakfast included and excellent selection for Gluten free ( Coeliac) that was great for me. Very comfortable room with all that we needed. The whole old city was all within a short beautiful walk. What an incredible place to visit!!
