Hotel Porta Marmorea

This hotel is convenient to everything in Gubbio. The staff was so helpful in recommending great food, things to do, directions to other towns, and so many other things. The food served every morning for breakfast was delicious. I was spoiled.

Great location for a bus traveller yet within walking distance of all the sites. A very clean, comfortable room with hot drink making facilities and very welcoming staff. Good range of breakfast choices in a bright cheery room. The Information centre is close by and extremely helpful.

Great location, super close to the old town (actual it's within the old town but still reachable by car).There is free parking close by if you're lucky and if you aren't then it's a 5-8 min walk. Not far.The staff was very nice and welcoming.Breakfast was not bad at all, not rich but good enough (sweets, cereal, fruits, bread and boiled eggs, cheese and salami).

Our window was facing a main street so opening it meant noise...Also the corridor was quite noisy so I advise to bring earplugs.The hotel in general and the room in particular seem a bit old so the design wasn't really it's strong side.The TV was super tiny and was put high on the wall. We stayed during Christmas (winter) and there was no option to turn off the heating despite the room being already quite warm.There's free coffee and tea in the room (with a kettle) and also an empty mini-fridge if you need.

The hotel is situated a short walk to sights, restaurants and shops. Free parking nearby. Able to drive to entrance to drop luggage. Clean. Nice breakfast. Comfortable bed.

Beautiful furnishings. Walnut furniture glazed terracotta floor and wrought iron bed heads. Warm reception. Pretty breakfast room delicious breakfast with lots of variety.

Good location just 2 minutes from the bus station and in the center of beautif hill town. Very friendly lady at the reception, easy check in and check out. Good size room and great value for money

5 mins walking from city centerno private parking, but free parking is not problem nearbygood breakfast (at least is better than the standard italian breakfast), with ham, cheese, coffee, some sweetsvery nice stafffridge in the room

no lift (I was actually on ground floor, but it can be uncomfortable on higher floors)

Wonderful boutique hotel right on the main market square at the bottom of the medieval town of Gubbio. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, breakfast was delicious and free parking right outside the hotel was a bonus. Good sized room, all you can ask for at this price.

Lovely location and decorations, abundant breakfast, friendly staff. It was lovely to chat with Kwang, a professional and smily receptionist and Breakfast waitress. The location is perfect if you want to explore Gubbio from bottom to top, and the refinement of the paintings of the hotel certainly helped building up atmosphere. Perfect for a couple.

The location was perfect. You have plenty of options for parking nearby and it’s only 10 min on foot to the main and most popular square.

Our room was a bit dark, the window was very narrow. But it wasn’t a big problem at the end since we arrived in the evening and left the day after.

Excellent location. Great value for the price. Excellent breakfast. This was our second visit to this hotel, and will book here for any future visits. Staff are very friendly and efficient. Nice parking area very close by. So easy to access restaurants and shops from this location.

I left a shirt in the room and the staff were very helpful and responsive in mailing the shirt back to me after I left. Very impressed with their customer service!

The hotel location is very convinient since it is in the old town of Gubbio. Free parking is available behind the hotel in the busy street and sometimes it is not easy to find a free space. Hotel staff is very kind and helpful. Breakfast is fine.

We got a room at the ground floor. The window is open towards the busy road therefore it iwas sometimes very nouisy.

Wonderful view from the window exactly as it is in the photo. Perfect location. Very nice and helpful staff. Recommendation on the restaurant was excellent. Clean room and very comfortable bed. Welcome appetiser upon our arrival was nice and unexpected (we still don't know if it was for all the guests or just for us, as we had a sort of anniversary. Anyway it was a nice gesture!) We had an unforgettable weekend!

I liked the personal touches to this hotel – the owner & staff friendly and helpful, local artwork throughout the building, pleasant lighting in the rooms, great breakfast!
