Hotel San Marco

The staff were wonderful! Our room was clean and spacious - I love the balcony and garden outside. It was nice having a little refrigerator. The location was convenient for everything we wanted to see. We liked the old-fashioned elegant decor. Nice breakfast.

Excelent place for our one night in Gubbio!

I bit of smoke odor in the corridor But not a problem.

This was an absolute hidden gem! The staff and location was absolutely amazing! The town had amazing history, cute shops, excellent restaurants with great service and top notch food, and a great hiking trail and bird cage cable ride to the top of the mountain! Just WOW!

Breakfast was not too good. Meat and eggs were cold and dried out. Food was empty and not refilled. It was a shame since everything else was so perfect.

Fantastic host Roberto. It seems that there was no question he could not answer or a problem that he couldn't solve. Perfect service in general.Location is good, a few hundred meters to the town, but not on the hill, so one does not need to drag a heavy luggage uphill.Beautiful inner garden where one can also eat breakfast.

This was my 2nd stay at this hotel so I knew what to expect. Excellent location, courteous and very helpful staff, fantastic facilities, clean room, and a wonderful breakfast. I would definitely stay here again, when I'm next in Gubbio!

We had a comfortable 2 night stay at the Hotel San Marco. Centrally located it is walking distance to restaurants, cafes and shops. Our room was spacious and clean. We appreciated having access to the terrace.

Super clean, with an airy room. Lovely, helpful staff. Terrific location; easy to park 2 blocks away (free!), and in the historic center, with everything easily walkable. Plentiful breakfast. A great place.

Great location, comfortable beds, balcony, good breakfast (except for the coffee) available for purchase. Provided plates and cutlery for picnic dinner. Allowed for early check-in.

Smell of deodorizer was overwhelming. Mini-fridge was unplugged when we arrived and was not functional until the next morning, but the biggest disappointment was the air conditioner stopped working the 2nd night of our stay.

Staff very friendly and helpful with my questions about Gubbio. Pretty good English. The hotel is a 2 minute walk from the bus stop ciming from the train station in Fossato di Vico. It was a cool and pleasant place on hot August days. The breakfast was very good for an extra 8 Eu. Beds werw firm and comfortable.

I liked everything. No complaints at all Everything was great. As in many Italian hotels, the shower door had to be carefully arranged to keep water off the floor. This is very typical with the type of folding shower doors. Very minor issue- use your brain and a bit of cleverness and the user can keep the water in.
