    • Close to train station
    • Location to train station was good.
    • It was right in the middle the square which was very cool

    Cons -

    • They stopped the air conditioning and heating on October 1. The rooms have paper thin walls and the noise outside was insane. Horrible bed as well. Worst night sleep ever. We won¿t stay here again for free
    • Hotel turns off entire air/heat system on Oct 1. AC does NOT work for months. It was hot so we opened the door and mosquitoes invaded. The bed was terrible. Noise from rooms next door, above and outdoors kept us awake. Wouldn¿t stay here again for free.
    • Everything in the room was exceptionally old and smelled of every person that had been in it for the last 200 years the building Heather also not been updated nor had furnishings or the comforter or the bed sheet since at least the 1930s

The location was great. The room was clean. Nice areas in hotel to seat in.

Breakfast could have been better. Traffic noise from outside. No light blocking shades on windows.

Excellent breakfast. Very good location. Very Quiet. Staff helpful with maps and restaurant recommendations and calling taxi. Very clean. Modern bathroom, good size. Doorman most of the time. Late check-in.

My room was not a street view but very quiet.

Central hotel, with parking relatively close by.

"Old fashion" hotel. Needs renovation, lots of carpet. Average breakfast

I travelled here in winter and found the room cosy and comfortable. The rooftop bar was closed as it was very cold and windy outside, however one of the staff opened it up for me to enjoy the view which was lovely. It's the perfect location to walk around Arezzo and get to the train station. A beautiful classic Italian hotel

Our stay at Hotel Continentale was extremely disappointing. From the moment we arrived, we encountered issues – the room, intended for three people, was provided with towels for only two, and the room was uncomfortably cold, especially considering it was mid-February and there were no blankets available. After a brief walk during the day, when we returned to the hotel, the situation worsened – the room had not been cleaned and the towels had not been replaced. Consequently, despite having paid for an extra night, we had to pack our bags and leave because of the lack of proper service and concern from the staff. This experience clearly demonstrates that Hotel Continentale does not meet the expected standards of comfort and guest care. I will never stay there again and would definitely not recommend it to anyone.

The Hotel Continentale is a grand old hotel. The foyer is stunning. There is a small bar in the entry that is a great spot to rest weary feet before going out. The breakfast was fabulous and quite extensive. The rooms were well appointed. The digital checkin was great and saved a lot of time on arrival. The Hotel is a short walk from the train station, but central to all attractions.

The bed was a little uncomfortable as it sagged on one side. Time to change the mattress.

The location of the hotel is great. The staff is very kind. The breakfast is satisfactory. It is very good that the train station is close. It is very close to the most popular street. There are many restaurant options nearby. If I go to Arezzo again, I can choose it.

The hotel is very old. A bit far from modern. But that is absolutely no problem. Nostalgia lovers may like it.

location was fabulous, short walk to the train station. several restaurants were near by.

small room, twin beds were touching each other. room smelled of stagnant smoke and body oder. staff was neutral. first room they brought us to had people still occupying it.

Centrally situated, especially if the antique street market is on. Old fashioned hotel with a comfortable room and decent bathroom. Near lots of cafes and restaurants, shops and supermarket, 10 minutes walk from the station. Lovely roof terrace with comfortable sofas and chairs, beautiful view. Alessandra on reception was excellent, very helpful and informative.

Breakfast was rather boring, cold bacon and scrambled eggs being one choice, but a good selection of fruit. The hotel is probably due an update.

    We liked the location.

The room was very warm and we had to request the air be put on because they turn it off for the summer. The sun was beating in the room all day and the widom did not open enough for a breeze. It was loud outside the room.

    7TerencePosted on: 9-27-2024

    Breakfast spread is good

Not international TV channels to watch other than Italian ones which I do not understand. No kettle for boiling of hot water

    9MichaelPosted on: 9-19-2024

Old classic hotel design with excellent lounges, which could be updated, but we're quiet and comfortable. Location could not be better, within steps of shops, eateries, etc. Very helpful staff. Lovely rooftop bar with great city views.

The roof terrace was the best specially the view
