Hotel Carignano

Convenient hotel with friendly staff restaurant and parking near Lucca.

Very friendly staff, very clean and nice pool. It was sad to leave such a beautiful place.

We only spent one night, the stay was good, check in was easy, restaurant ok

I made a mistake when I booked, and it was handicapped room, no bath tub

Room was good although shower leaked all over the floor which was annoyingUnfortunately, the breakfast was a bit disappointing with very few optionsThe pool was good overall but was overrun with young americans one day who were drinking beer from glass bottles in the pool which ruined it for everyone else.Nobody from the hotel intervened

AC in some rooms could be upgraded. But we were dealing with unseasonably high temperatures.

clean and the staff was very helpful. The pool is a great bonus especially in this hot summer

Maybe a bit overpriced for the type of hotel?! also the direct road from the city centre to the hotel was closed and the time to go to and from the hotel was longer than expected and make the price of the taxi crazy . Maybe a shuttle service offered by the hotel in a situation like that would have been appreciated as 37 euro for each leg of taxi is a bit too much.

Pool was great, room was a solid 3 star.

Beds were a bit worn and had very little support.Restaurant was the worst meal I've ever eaten out! If we hadn't already had two drinks before the food came out I would have sent it back and driven somewhere else!When we reviewed the bill on check out, there were extra items added that weren't ordered or consumed!!

Pool is nice, and good parking. 15 min drive from Lucca. Nice staff

overpriced - rooms not great, and WiFi either. We had a small balcony which really was nothing.

We loved the room, it was clean, the cleaner even tidy it after we left in the morning. We loved the pool area and the food was great.

The location to Lucca was a bit far, but still worth it since it was peacfull.

excelent pool. I did not have breakfast there. The overall aspect of the hotel is slightly older, but quite nice anyway. The staff was very gentle (we did not try to speak in English with the staff)

Not a big problem, but without a car, you should not stay in this hotel.

Easy to find, plenty of parking, charming design. Staff was friendly and efficient and the rooms were clean and nice. The property was quite pretty, and looked like they were doing additional improvements.

Bathroom shower design meant water got on the floor.

furniture was pretty old and balcony door was not closing. Continental breakfast had all items but quality of them was not really good. You can’t find anything to eat around 2-4pm in the hotel or around

The staff were amazingly helpful and went out of their way to make sure I was given dinner when I arrived after a late flight.They also booked taxis for us, working hard to get them even though it was mega busy.

Dreadful……A 4 star hotel it was absolutely not a 4 star, more like 1 star. Looked nothing like the photos at All. Our toilet was leaking, breakfast was terrible, the rooms had no A/C and looked like hostel accommodation. No one around to get you anything at breakfast is was terrible. £600 for 2 rooms for one night. I feel totally and utterly ripped off. Pls do not waste your money you will be so disappointed. Very low quality.

Very comfortable rooms. Clean. The staff are polite and helpful. Dinner was excellent. Sara who waited on us was great at explaining the different delicious dishes! Very friendly!! Unfortunately there is no room for tomorrow and we would like to stay longer
