Hotel Melecchi

Friendly/informative father/son owners and both speak English. 20 min walk to Lucca centre. Hotel is spotless and big/comfortable rooms. Although my room faced the street, with the windows closed, it was quiet. The ¿5 breakfast was well worth it.

Great location, friendly staff, the breakfast was very good . They answer the message very fast is very easy to contact them.

It is an old structure and could be improve to white color to improve the sensación that you are in a new and clear place.

The hotel is located in a nice area and has a very home-y vibe. The family that owns the hotel is extremely welcoming and eager to assist wherever they can.

The entrance from the parking lot has a welcoming atmosphere. The owners are helpful and understanding. They let us to leave the car and we didn’t need to pay for a parking spot after we checked out. I’m sure it depends on the possibility but it was such a nice gesture. Breakfast has options better than many area and not so limited.

Nice people, excellent location. Enjoyed the breakfast. attractive room. Attractive drawing room on ground floor. It's a family-run establishment. Would stay here again.

Location of the hotel is close to the old city center, free parking is in the yard. The hotel has a retro style, but the room and the bed was comfortable and clean. The hosts are so kind and nice, and the breakfast was delicious.

The staff was very kind replying to our questions prior to the stay, we had everything we needed, including parking place of the hotel.

a lot of detalis could be cleaner, like there is years old dust on lamps, hairdyer. the bathroom was on the first view ok, but in the shower, there is a lot of red, I assume skin and soap stuck. chair cushions and bed cover is like from the Medici era, also the curtains. mattress was a bit old and you could feel the springs. also, the worst thing was the blanket and sheet, not duvet, I wonder when the blanket was washed last

Friendly staff, charming antique decor, comfortable hotel rooms with exceptionally comfortable beds. Excellent shower. Good location. Not too far from the city, and right next door to a Lidl. Great value for money.

Our room had a dodgy electrical socket where the TV was plugged into. Made a static noise from time to time. We managed to stop it by nudging it, but it didn't feel too safe to mess with it.

Hotel is close Old Town and on the track of Via Francigena. The staff is very polite and helpful. There is a bar where you can order drinks. Breakfast was good. Family run hotel, cosy and great atmoshpere.

The room was spacious and had everything you need. Staff were friendly and helpful. The patisserie and the pizza restaurant nearby are great also.

Staff was really best part of our stay, looks like small family hotel, breakfast was awesome and very worth it. Parking was free and spacious. Even doe hotel is situated next to a busy road it was not very loud. I would also like to recommend restaurant in lucca Gigi Trattoria, great gnocchi and wine.

The staff were super wand helpful. Breakfasts were great value for money and the town inside the wall a quick visit away.

Maybe more pillows !

The place was not luxurious but it was clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpfull. It was rainy and we borrowed their umbrella too. Thanks a lot. I would love to visit again.

Affordable well located family hotel. Walking distance from main city centre. Has Parking space which is a plus.

You have to be back before midnight, which stops you from enjoying a dinner and drink out…

Marino and Giovanni were most welcoming, friendly and always on hand to help. Very convenient for exploring Luca and a 15 minute walk to the station for trains to Pisa and Florence. The hotel has a very nice terrace at the back to enjoy the sun. Good value breakfast. Great to be able to park at the back of the hotel in it’s own car park

Antique high quality wooden furniture. Friendly staff. Clean room and bathroom. The breakfast and the room were good value for money. Reasonably priced. Safe parking.

Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, we had a very short visit but couldn’t recommend it more. Would definitely stay again! Short walk to the walled city, wasn’t an issue that we weren’t within the walls at all
