Best Western Grand Hotel Guinigi

Wonderful hotel, modern, very clean with spaceous free parking lot. Beautiful views to the country place from the room window.Excellent staff attention, very nice personnel.

A little bit far from the historical center by car.

Breakfast was nice to enjoy and great variety. However the dark cellar environment could be designed a bit better.

As a Platinum Member, I was not acknowledged upon check-in and received rooms with poor view / across to other rooms and. The nice distant view, looking over the back parking area would have been much nicer.

Typical Italian breakfast a mix of savory and sweet. The espresso machines are fantastic

The furniture of the hotel is old in style and need complete renovation I did’t like the style

A lovely modern, airy hotel with spacious bedrooms. Dinner was very well cooked and breakfast options were plentiful. Staff coped well with catering for nut and gluten allergies in our group.

There was some traffic noise during the night from the main road but wasn’t too bothersome.

The breakfast and especially the coffee was excellent. The hotel bar and all common areas were well kept and comfortable. I did not have dinner at the restaraunt so I cannot speak to that

if I had to pick one thing it would be the view from the room

Location, parking was close to hotel, spacy clean room, profi staff.And that 100% blood-orange juice for breakfast for mind-blowing!

Rooms are big, comfortable and clean. We also had a balcony in one of the rooms. There is a gym available for guests. Breakfasts are very good. Big parking is located near the object. Old city centre is located 20-30 minutes of walk from the hotel.

Coffee was good, but not as good as you can expect (and typically experience) in Italy.

Spacious rooms, breakfast, staff, cleanliness. The property is dated but very well maintained. The staff very helpful and friendly. Free parking faculty. Perfect hotel to base in northern Tuscany for traveling in groups or family.

The only drawback - which has nothing to do with quality of the property, is it’s located a bit out of Lucca. But we were exploring Tuscany and this served as perfect base for us.

breakfast is only open from 7am, which is too late if you are on a business trip. It should be open as of 6:30; another point is to charge 1,50 euro for bottle of water! every other hotel provides as complimentary, at least one bottle of water

The room was clean and spacious. All was clean

The location relies upon taxis without a hire car and the system of only calling taxis for immediate use means we missed a train. It’s a 40 minute walk for the heart of Lucca beyond the town limits and wouldn’t suit anyone but the fittest

On entrance the reception the staff were very welcoming. The hotel and facilities are great. The breakfast and evening menu the food is to a exceptional standard. The room and bedding cleanliness are exceptional. Would recommend to anyone to stay
