There wasn't anything not to like - highly recommend!

The food was fantastic. The grounds were very well kept, the pool and pool area was super. The staff generally were very helpful and friendly, especially the restaurant staff and a special shout out to Roberto who went above and beyond for us. Bikes and Vespas being available to hire were a nice addition.I would return in a heartbeat and the 'don't likes' certainly don't outweigh the lovely time we had staying here. :)

More frequent service around the pool - drinks etc or a method of ordering perhaps by message to the bar staff if anyone would like anything. The bed was VERY firm. Uncomfortably firm.Without a car taxi's are vey expensive as they come from Lucca each time and charge for coming that far even if you only need a taxi for a local restaurant journey. If the property had a local driver who could help for shorter trips like that it would be such a bonus.

We had awonderful stay at this hotel! The location was absolutely beautiful.The hotel itself was superb — elegant, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff provided excellent service throughout my stay, always friendly and helpful. The rooms were spotless and cleaned daily, which made the experience even more pleasant. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and high-quality stay.

The features of this former hunting lodge include a gracious glass-enclosed dining/breakfast room was delightful looking out over grounds in the morning, and an elegant place to dine at night. Service from reception to dining was superb, as was the food. The rooms with their rustic dramatic ceilings and comfy beds led to pleasant rest and beautiful views. A retreat from noisy streets and crowds.

Clean and peaceful. A peaceful place with birds chirping. You should use hotel restaurant which is the best. Thank you for all.

Describe room corectly

Very convenient to Lucca Centro Historico. Good selection at breakfast and dinner in the restaurant was good.

Ground floor rooms can be affected by guests disregarding the polite notice to close the lobby door quietly.

The breakfast in the morning was great. The room was nice and clean. Bathroom was adequate.

The wifi was not good at all in the room. We stayed on the top floor of the secondary building. We went in Mid-October and that is about when Italy starts to turn off the air conditioning. So we didn't have cool air conditioning in the room. So we had to open up the windows to cool down the room and some bugs came into the room.The one lane road to get to the property was very tight. Going into and out of the main gate at the property was very tight. Across the road from the main gate was a drainage ditch that we would come very close to going into when turning in and out of the property. Luckily, the one lane road was short and there was not much traffic.The additional parking in the back was a little inconvenient to get to. Again, I had to drive through a VERY NARROW stone gate to get to the additional parking area. It was raining when we arrived and some of the parking spots in the additional parking area had standing water and it was precarious to get in and out of the car without getting your shoes wet. I would be afraid of flooding in the additional parking area if there was a big rain-storm. There was a front parking area that allowed for probably 8 cars, but those spots filled up quick if you didn't get back to the hotel early.

Wonderful location and it is a beautiful place. Nice warm hotel with lovely people.Breafast and dinners were excellent.The pool is clean and well equipped.

The air conditioner needs a cleaning. otherwise the room was charming and cleaned up every day.

We booked the suite and it is absolutely stunning! Such a special place to spend some time and very quiet and tucked away in nature. Lovely staff a well!

Beautiful hotel, close to Pisa and Lucca. Staff are very friendly, the best customer service in our two weeks in Italy.

Our room had high levels of humidity, I wish it had a bathroom fan because you can’t open the windows due to the mosquitos

Breakfast was officially over at 10am and we didn't get to breakfast until 9.30am. By that time there was very little left.

Lovely find of this hotel, we came for a rest prior to flying home. Weather was super so made the use of the garden and swimming pool. We had breakfast, lunch and dinnner at the hotel and all of the meals were super. Staff super friendly and helpful.

Would have liked the option of an early breakfast just continental with a pot of coffee,we were offered a takeaway coffee and croissant but that didn't work for us..
