Albergo San Martino & Depandance

We loved our stay here! Two good friends traveling together, we asked for a room with 2 twins and it was a beautiful room! Lovely art, colorful, clean with a very clean bathroom. All amenities were there. Everyone was super friendly and accommodating. We loved the breakfast. It was delicious with a lot of variety. Every day we had something different. The location was also great, within the city walls, a short stroll to everything. Quiet as well, all of our needs were met.

The breakfast was amazing. Location was near everything but still allowed us to have a car inside the city walls. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Glad we were on main floor though because otherwise you would need to climb stairs.

We had 3 people in a king with a twin and it was definitely snug but doable since we are all family.

The hotel’s staff, location, and appearance were great. We also had a wonderful breakfast. A fun visit.

The stairs are very narrow since it is an older building. Be aware.

I think this was the best hotel we stayed in during our 20-day Italy trip. The hotel is so cute, very clean, staff were so nice and helpful! The room was beautiful, bathroom was great (two sinks)! Beds were comfortable too. We have nothing bad to say or any complaints. I'd definitely stay there again.

Everything. The staff is amazingly helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was great. Appreciated being able to park so close. Location for sightseeing is perfect. Staying here is like stepping back in time to a kinder, gentler era.

This hotel is SO cute! The location is perfect, and the staff are so nice and helpful! It felt kind of like an old Italian hotel from a movie, but super clean and modern at the same time. There is also a really cute cat, Onda, who belongs to one of the neighbors, and likes to come hang out around the patio. I love her. The hotel also has a really cool history! Definitely a special place, with a ton of character. I will for sure stay here again, and would recommend it to everyone

The beds are a little harder than i'm used to, which i've also seen other people mention, but tbh it was fine for me, i slept great. Just feel like i should mention that for people who might have issues. Only eggs at breakfast are hard boiled, but it was still tasty and i liked that they had local offerings like the Buccellato di Lucca

It’s clean and nicely decorated. The buffet breakfast is really good. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

The rooms have no USD ports to charge your phone. They should have something to charge your phone and other items.

This is one of the best places we stayed in our trip to Italy - very nice and clean facilities, conveniently located and with old town charming in and out. Staff are nice. Breakfast is very impressive.

clean, charming, great location, friendly staff

This is a charming, old-school hotel that's been recently renovated. It reminded me of hotel descriptions in travel books written in the 1930s and 40s. But this hotel is not worn! Everything was fresh and lovely. Our bathroom was huge, had a stylish and very usable walk-in shower as well as a giant whirlpool tub, which we didn't use. Staff was so helpful and friendly. The included breakfast had a wide variety of items, from cereal, eggs and fruit to cheese and cold cuts. Excellent coffee with espresso and cappuccino made to order.

The only thing that was less than ideal was a streetlight right outside our window. The AC wasn't on, because the night got quite cool. But we had to leave the shutters closed to cut down the light, which also cut down the fresh air. The hotel kindly provided me with a fan, and it was okay.

The location is excellent for all Lucca has to offer and it is in a very quiet and peaceful area with no noise at night. It is also so convenient for the train station. We stayed in the hotel annex which has two lovely large rooms, very well kept. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and pleasant, in particular Fabrizio & Claudia who were willing to help us with anything from travel arrangements, restaurant recommendations to a lost wedding ring !

Nicely decorated and homely. Peaceful and convenient. It was nice to have a very helpful lady in reception.

Lovely hotel, good breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. Enjoyed our stay very much. Would love to stay there again.
