Great, quiet location. Good for a get away, hikes or business in the Oberpfalz.

It was beautiful, clean and in a lovely location.

This is a hidden gem located next to a beautiful monastery. The dinner and breakfast were excellent, and the staff was exceptional. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning as well.

Location, service, food!

I booked at last minute and my room had two twin beds with a small table. No complaints but it was not suited for a business traveller. I made it work.

The Guesthouse is very unique, it is situated amidst beautiful Bavarian grass fields in a former monastery. The rooms are well-furnished, simple and stylish. The hotel also has a great Bavarian restaurant with good selection of local beer. In general, the place is quite and tranquil. Highly recommended if you are looking for a place to rest and relax.

If you are traveling with public transport, this is not a suitable location, very distant.

The location is okay but due to Monday there is no staff at the site

The place and the surrounding building is amazing.

Unfortunately I travelled to this hotel when the staff was not there. Self check-in was not difficult at all. But the day after, I could not meet anybody in the hotel, but the hotel maid. No information was given for the breakfast, and no bill was done at the check-out.I am not a fan of this sort of hotel accommodation.

The location is good and it is very quiet at the Kloster. Parking.

The curtains were not dark enough to keep the room darker. There are absolutely no hooks in the room or in the bathroom to hang i.e., towels, etc. I had the same comments from our last stay at the Kloster.

This hotel is a diamond in this small, beautiful town located 15 minutes outside of Grafenwöhr. The rooms were extremely clean, and the service from the amazing staff was amazing. Everyone there was SO kind and helpful, and any needs/ questions we had were always met! Parking is directly on the hotel grounds which is incredibly convenient. Breakfast is quaint with plenty of healthy and fresh options. The dinner located in the hotel restaurant could easily be one of the best options in the area, and is well priced. This hotel also shares a lot with the International meeting monastery (Speinshart), which you must see before leaving! It’s incredibly beautiful with some of the most intricate details of this era we’ve ever seen in person. If we’re ever back in the area, we will stay here and won’t even look into staying anywhere else!

Nice breakfast, easy check-in

The shower door was way too close to the sink and it was hard to get into the shower without getting water everywhere. There is no kettle for tea or coffee which is standard in a Gasthaus. The beds were on rollers and they could fairly easily roll around.

Breakfast was good, coffee wonderful. Room was adequate.

Towels were a bit threadbare and very rough. Showerhead was too high and shower was difficult.

Loved the location.The hotel and room was nice and clean.And the breakfast offered everything you needed.

The fee of €15 for a small dog a night is a bit steep.The room was very hot, despite having the windows open.The Internet didn’t work.Because of that we had to pay cash for our stay. Which is an inconvenience

The staff was very friendly and the location was quiet. Meal very good. We have stayed at the Kloster serveral times and will do so again if we are in that location.

There were only 3 hangers in the closet. The bath room was very small. No hooks anywhere in the room or bath room to hang clothing etc.

Quiet location, clean, comfortable, staff are very helpful and the restaurant is great. I have now stayed at the place over 10 times in the last few years and never been disappointed with the hotel and the staff
