I liked the big bed

Carpet was clean everywhere. Breakfast was nice if you're a flexy eater, only no glutenfree/vegan things really, but also not the targeted guests i guess. It was very quite (end Sept) so not many people on the floor to share the bathroom with.

The bed was too short for a man 192cm and had a big wooden beam in the middle which felt like a wall of sword built to keep partners apart.

Value for money. Super nice atmosphere. Parking close by. Nice beds.

Church bells ring for full 5 minutes starting at 7 in the morning.

Quiet apart from the church bells starting at 6am. Free parking, good breakfast.

The staff was kind and understanding of our schedule. The location was super convenient and in a fun little village, wish I had more time to explore. Plenty of parking in the back.

Minor detail, but the rooms don't have private bathrooms, male/female toilets are on each floor, and one bathub/shower per floor. Maybe I missed it when researching, but overall, it was still fine. Each room did have its own sink, which was nice.

The room was spacious and clean. It felt typically German which was great for us tourists. The breakfast buffet was amazing. The staff were friendly and helpful! They went above and beyond to let us charge our EV overnight.

Perfect location in town, right between the castle and church. Food at restaurant was excellent. It is 45 minutes to Bamberg. The town was very cute and out in the middle of a vast forest.

The room was spacious. The hotel itself was gorgeous.

There was no bathroom inside the bedroom, so you had to leave your room and use a shared bathroom in the hallway. The breakfast area was tiny and there wasn't a great selection. Staff was not very friendly to us, although a young man did help us carry our luggage up the 2 flights of stairs since we were traveling with a baby and there was no elevator.

Quick and easy check-in, the room and the shared bathroom were clean and tidy. The hotel is located in the very center of Gößweinstein, the surroundings are amazing.

The three-bed bedroom had a double bed and a short (~190cm?) single bed placed at the foot of the double bed. Not a particularly comfy configuration. The breakfast was okay, but could've been better (bread, cold cuts, cheese, boiled eggs, toasts, jam, a bit of fruit, juices, tee, coffee - that's about it).

The hotel is located in a beautiful setting with short trails all around. Easy access for all ages. The hotel is pretty and comfortable. Breakfast is copious and the staff very friendly.

One bathroom for 10 rooms at the end of the hallway.

The staff were nice and friendly, eager to help. The hotel has an old world ambience and the even some charm. The terrance is a nice place to sit, have a drink and watch the world go by, with a great view of the main church right in front. Breakfast was fine, typical of these hotels with bread rolls, eggs, cheese, fruit etc. There as plenty available, and you'd not go hungry. The room I was in had an ensuite bathroom and hence why I chose this hotel. Not all rooms that were available had this. The room I was in was right under the roof, and with a good view of the church opposite.

The welcome was hurried and mixed when I registered. I had to pay as soon as I arrived. The manager said she was not there the next day and so could I pay now. I did not have a problem, but wondered if there was no one else competent to deal with a credit card machine? Was I the only guest who had to pay on arrival and not when I left. After a long hot day, I was ready for a shower; all the various shower facilities were not there - no towels, no soap, shower gel etc. and had to inform the hotel staff twice before getting the towels. I finally got my shower at 10 pm. Half of the town was dug, with repairs of the road etc. Trying to get to the car park for the hotel took several attempts. Lastly, although wi-fi is free, the service / reception is poor. In the main building, it is fine, but not so elsewhere. I will put this down to a one-off bad day for them? But not hurrying back there.
