    • It was a pleasant surprise to find out that this hotel is part of an amazing resort. We loved the beaches, the ease of renting a bicycle and riding the whole area, the multiple restaurants. It was such a relaxing truly vacation vibe.
    • Location, lobby area, staff, service during breakfast and dinner, a lot of different varieties of food
    • Nothing special. The meal was ok, but.. that is almost all.

    Cons -

    • The bathroom is extremely small. The shower is the size of a phone booth. If you¿re a larger person you might want to consider one of the other options on the Zalena Laguna resort area.
    • The beds, the smell of chlorine from the bathroom, bathroom in general very small, toilet unusual dimensions, missing electric sockets - only one in the entire room.
    • There were no elevetor, everything is small (small bathroom, small closet, small and very tight shower , small balcony wihtout shade... I paide a lot - 200 hundred eur for one night - and it is way too much for that old property whith none renovation etc.. So I didnt stay and I will not stay there in the future. For old-er people is absolutely unacceptable it is necessary to carry suitcases up the stairs... I stayed there with my 87 years old mum. So we didnt take our suitcases from the car and we moved on another hotel. But the meal (dinner and breakfast) was good.

location, room with windows to the seaside, bathroom - all this was comfortable

There may be problems with parking if you leave by car during the day, in the evening it is difficult to find a place for the car

The food, the environment, beautiful outdoor

Too small rooms, there was no toilet paper in the room

The hotel is at a nice location, beach is just steps away. The food was food, the room was clean. I recommend.

The room was okay, view of the sea was nice. Bathroom was clean. Food was various and plentiful, although we had to add salt to everything. Situated nicely, lots of walking and activity options in the vicinity.

There was only one electric plug for the whole room, so if you and your partner want to charge phones, you have to take turns... The room is also designed that it has many hard-to-reach "gaps" (behind table and mirror, under the bed), where was tons of dust. The bathroom was very tiny. Bathroom cleanliness was adequate, but the shower drain was clogged and you were up to ankles in water by the end of showering.

About the only good thing was the really friendly staff who arranged everything for our request to have dinner to go as we would otherwise miss it. Luckily, we were here outside the main season so the price of just under 100€ for a half-board was acceptable and ok value, otherwise the rating would probably be lower. The rooms are quite outdated, the blinds do not fully close so you get light in at night and morning, there was only one electrical charging socket in the entire room (never seen anything like that) and the walls so thin we could hear guests in the next room laughing and talking until 4 in the morning so no much sleep for us.

The cantina offered delicious food with a wide variety of options. The location was excellent, just steps from the beach, surrounded by stunning nature and a beautiful park. A charming promenade connects the area to the next town, perfect for a scenic walk. The parking facility was convenient and reasonably priced. The staff were welcoming, helpful, and friendly. Overall, a delightful experience!

The room was somewhat small, and the thin walls made it easy to hear noise from neighboring rooms. The bathroom was compact, and accessing the shower cabinet was a bit challenging.

Excellent value for money €52 for half board and food in the restaurant was good with plenty of choice. Rooms were ok and had a small outside balcony. Staff were helpful and plenty of parking for motorcycles

Great location next to the beach and beautiful nature around hotel. We also enjoyed the pool.

We thought that the room will be a little big bigger but except that everything was very nice. We really enjoyed our stay.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Excellent location really steps away from the sea. Great value for money. We also liked the little train to Poreč.

Rooms are small but for our family with two small kids this was not a problem. I would appreciate more fresh vegetables and fruits at breakfast.

Last minute booking to extend my stay in Porec for an extra night. It was a very comfortable room and facility with nice breakfast too...and great location for a morning swim before heading away.

Staff is excellent and room was clean.

Company has to make investment in rehabilitation and modernizing of this hotel ASAP. On the other side price matches what you get.

    Great location

Who ever took photos of their rooms is good at his Job. Made it seem like there is actual space in the room. Make sure you look at the square footage of the rooms . Our room was Tiny. Had no room to open luggage . Had to place it on the bed to access it. Bathroom is tiny! I barely fit inside the shower. Also they turned off the AC for the whole hotel due to some older guest being cold . Makes no sense since each room has its own AC/Heat controls.

very friendly staffgood location within a hotel zone and close to the beachparking availablegood value vor pricegood variety of food for breakfast

the hotel itself seems like its from the Jugoslawien era which has its charm. I wouldnt stay in the basic room for more than two nights. However maybe some upgraded rooms have been renovated to todays standards.

    7ValeriePosted on: 9-14-2024

Excellent food at both dinner and breakfast. Had sea view economy room. I don't think the garden view room would have been as nice. The pool was first rate.

No lift! It's quite big and hard to find your way around.

    10VioletaPosted on: 9-13-2024

The room, the dinner and breakfast buffet. Really good value for money, I also had a small balcony in the room.

Everything was as I had read in the reviews before I went to the Plavi. Hotel was very clean, quiet at night, staff was kind; Wi-Fi worked properly. Food was excellent!

The bathrooms (in the Section C) are very small. Like in a cabin. There is very little space between shower and toilet. Used to see such ones and I didn't care because it was in budget hotels for overnight or two. But if you're staying in a resort hotel for a week or two it can be uncomfortable.

Clean rooms, very various breakfast options, sea view, nice staff…
