Bedrooms are pretty nice and location is good for reaching local walks and sights

Mainly the fact that hotel guests were usually confined to a second-rate space for meals (breakfast and dinner), as the amazing bar/dining room shown in the photos was reserved as a separate restaurant for most of our stay. This made very little sense, as there were rarely more than a couple of diners in the restaurant each evening (and zero for breakfast), whereas the hotel guests were all crammed together in a room without many windows or views. Although we worked it out after a couple days, my wife and I weren’t even told about the (high-priced) taster menu option in the main restaurant - despite asking about other dining options. With a couple of exceptions, the staff were generally rather sullen and unhelpful, eg. not bothering to show us how our private sauna worked and only explaining the controls after we raised the fact that it didn’t seem to be working.All in all, it was a very disappointing experience - especially when compared to other hotels we visited on our roadtrip, which were much more friendly, with better food and a far more welcoming approach.

Everything and everybody was great!

Breakfast a little slow. Would have liked to serve ourself on certain items and request other options choices that are cooked. Otherwise everything great. Diddly like the noise until 11 at night by the tennis , soccer field next door.

The location is on a one-lane wine road through vineyards on a hill. The facility is lovely and modern. The restaurants are well prepared. Bolzano is not a great city and far too hot in the summer months.

The air conditioning is either not really working or too low to matter in the heat of summer. To sleep, we had to keep the door to the balcony open.

amazing modern rooms. so elegant and comfortable. the bed was lovely and the shower was so nice. customer service was outstanding!! Pietro Vincenzo was so lovely and table service was impeccable! the smoked salmon on the bistro menu was the best we have ever had! the ladies at breakfast were so kind and friendly and the breakfast was delicious!

there is no signage! you know you’re at the right place but no signage for reception or where to go. but that’s about it, this place is lovely! but book in the modern room. not the old rooms.

Modern and well-maintained

Transparent toilet is too much. I would prefer to have at least some privacy there.

It was out in the country and a little hard to find. No elevator or air conditioning in older section of hotel. They did provide a fan upon request.

The hotel's design is very old, the variety of food is limited and not delicious, and the rooms are hot without air conditioning

Amazing views, immense comforts, extreme friendly and pleasant staff, bending over backwards to make guests feel special.

The breakfast/dinner were beyond amazing. They were friendly and accommodated us in every way, especially with our dog. It was a wonderful place and we’d definitely stay there again!

We really had no complaints!

Breakfast setting outdoors under the grape vines with a view of the mountains couldn't have been better. It is quite a relaxing atmosphere (except for the birds and wasps!). I would only say that a buffet would be preferred so we could select the specific items and quantities desired. The quality was good and the dinners at both the bistro and restaurant were terrific. The website photos of the hotel setting do not do it justice!

Nothing really. As at other hotels, staff shortages and some laxness in service were noticeable this year. But, this was not a big problem. The room was maybe a bit smaller than expected per the impression given by the photos, but still very nice.

Gorgeous breakfast, two restaurant at the site catering to a more relaxed and a more high end atmosphere. Amazing architecture and garden, amazing pool.

Americans be aware: AC is very very weak in hot summer days.
