The hotel staff was very friendly and nice, the rooms were beautiful, more than expected. Very nice food and patio to enjoy beers on. Great location and this town is beautiful and quaint

Amazing and kind staff! Very cute town and the whole hotel in typical Austrian style was exactly what we were looking for. Also, decent selection of the hotel breakfast.

Just one little thing, it would be nicer if the bed has one matrace instead of the mattresses on queen size bed for couples. ? Otherwise there was nothing we didn’t like.

You're right in the middle of town. I always wanted to stay in one of these beautiful alp style hotels and this one did not disappoint. Beautiful views everywhere inside and out.

I would have liked to have had a refrigerator of any size in my room

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. The view from the rooms was amazing. The kids loved the first floor lounge, we ended up playing cards there on both evenings.

Since this is also a restaurant, people were almost constantly smoking right at the front door, which we could smell even on the first floor. Train tracks run fairly close by, so there's some noise during the night (no A/C, so you'll need to open the windows in hot weather).

The room was nice, and the breakfast was great.

There was no AC in the room, and due to the warm weather we had to keep the balcony door towards the noisy street open at night. Cars and trucks woke us up too early.

Very clean, grade + 10.Very polite and professional staff.We tried the local food and drinks recommended by them in their restaurant, they were very delicious. If you stay there, you must try the deer dish.The breakfast was very delicious and varied.From the moment you enter the hotel, you can feel an authentic traditional atmosphere.

Very clean. Nice service and friendly staff. The breakfast had a good selection and good quality food. The Wifi was good in the morning. Nice bathroom and comfy beds.

The wifi was bad in the evening when all the guests were using it. We we so "unlucky" to arrive when the hotel restaurant was closed for dinner, but that was our fault, not to have done our research.

We were lucky and had a room with a balcony away from the street, so there was no noise at night. The bed was okay, and we were pleased with the selection during the breakfast buffet. Upon our request, they provided us with gluten-free bread every morning, the taste of which exceeded my expectation. And thumbs up for the thoughtful and superb cleaning service!

We had a really unpleasant experience with one of the older staff members. In general, he did not seem to have any people skills and on the last day, I was told off by him during the breakfast buffet in front of other guests. There was no wrongdoing or mistake on my part, so I hope it was just a misunderstanding and the gentleman was just in a bad mood. However, I did not receive an apology from him.

This traditional Austrian property was wonderful! Right in the heart of Golling, this was a wonderful stay.

Unfortunately the beds were not comfortable at all. That is honestly the only issue.

Central location with a great restaurant. Private parking is available in this beautiful little town. All in town is within walking distance. Close to Salzburg, Hohenwerfen Castle and the falls.

The location and food were great, the place also functions as a restaurant. Easy to access other areas near Salzburg, parking place provided next to a lake. All you can ask for and more!

A great place to stay before going into the mountains. We booked one night at the hotel before our multiple day hike. A nice place with comfortable beds and a good breakfast. The room was big and had a double bed and one single bed since we where with 3 people.

In some of the older rooms you might sometimes hear a bit more noise than in more modern ones.

The room was big with a comfy bed. Nice new bathroom. The view from the backyard window was nice, you look up the mountains.

We stayed in this hotel one week and it was perfect! Room was clean and staff was always so kind. This place is really great for trips, also Salzburg is really close (20 minutes with car) and you can go with train from Golling (35 minutes). Thank you so much!
