Alpenhotel Kronprinz

The rooms were very clean and modern but with old world charm. The hotel is an easy walk to the city center and has beautiful views. The included breakfast was a great buffet and their coffee was the best I've tasted in Europe!

Nothing, the place was perfect for my short stay.

Front deask staff very helpful and welcoming. Room clean and large clean bathroom. Very good buffet breakfast and dinners we had and there too nice staff. We decided to stay longer as it was also good value for money during Christmas season.

We parked close by in front of hotel a bit down the hill. There is parking under the hotel also but it was not offered. Not a problem really.

The breakfast was exceptional. Huge variety of well prepared items, eggs, meats, fruits, veggies, bread and pastry, yogurt, oatmeal, cheeses, etc.Room had plenty of size. We did not choose a view room but if you did, the view is beautiful.Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpul.It is about a 10 minute walk to the center of the town and you can take an elevated path above the town. Amazing! Views and looking down into the town.

Not saying it had to be better because cleanliness is way more important to me but things are a bit dated. Not the beds or bathroom but mostly decor. Nothing that should make anybody hesitate to stay here.The hotel itself is up a small hill to ample parking. We did it easily in the winter (compact rental car) but might be something to consider if you are afraid of driving on ice and snow( if that was the situation)

I’ve slept on rocks softer than the bed. Still waiting on the hot water to arrive so I don’t have to take an ice shower

The dinner the first night my friends ordered was so extremely dry. I don’t know how they served it. My dinner was good, but we ate elsewhere other than breakfast.

Absolutely amazing breakfast. I would say it was the highlight of our stay in this hotel. Very friendly service during breakfast, nice views, great variety at the buffet.We were reading before that the rooms are relatively old and need renovation so we were prepared for it. It's very old school, the pictures look better than the reality, the rooms indeed need some renovation. Everything is clean though so it was ok for 1 night stay.Overall, I gave 8 only because we enjoyed the breakfast in the morning and it compensated for the rest of the experience.

We couldn’t control the temperature. Our room was too warm day and night.

The hotel had a very nice terrace with a beautiful view where you could have cake and coffee. We wish we could have stayed longer.

Parking was tight, but they have a garage under the hotel for guest’s use.

The hotel could use a little update, such as garage gate operation. Wish the room had AC.

The views from this hotel are phenomenal, the restaurant is good, the breakfast is excellent, and the rooms are comfortable. Everything you need and relatively close proximity to town.

The room was very comfortable and the restaurant was good. The young woman at the reception desk, i believe her name was Marceleine, was exceptional.

Terrible experience. Awful room. Unhelpful staff.

The entire experience was terrible. From unhelpful staff, to not honoring the reservation requests, to the most terrible room with no AC and view of the unloading deck. It was not possible to sleep in that room and we had to cut our stay short and check out early. The staff was completely unhelpful and unfriendly. Do not stay at this place! It should not be featured on Bookings.com.

mattraces were a bit soft, smoke and noise of people sitting right beneath our balcony after 10 om was annoying.

Staff was wonderful- friendly and welcoming. Location was ok, just a 10 minute walk down inro the main part of town. Great breakfast! Room and bathroom were big and clean. Evening dining in restaurant was very convenient. Can't wait to come back!

We liked the views from the hotel but unfortunately we got a room with a view of the garages behind the hotel that had lights that came on whenever someone drove in even early in the morning. The breakfast was very good and the staff was also helpful. It was a 10-15 minute walk to town .

The view from our room so be sure to ask for a room with a Mountain View .

A bit of a walk into town

The hotel is located at a convenient ten minute walk from the city centre. The staff, whether at the front desk or kitchen/restaurant/bar were friendly and very warm, which makes travelling a pleasure.The mountain view rooms are stunning. The breakfast spread is massive and quite detailed!

A kettle in the room will be nice.
