Beautiful mountain views. Easy free parking. Sauna and hot tub very good and clean. Dinner and breakfast were excellent. Room with balcony was spacious.

Unbelievable view. Incredibly comfortable. Great staff, bar, restaurant, and other amenities. Very close to all activities around Berchtesgaden.

Bathroom was small but perfectly sufficient. Rooms are otherwise completely remodeled and very comfortable.

Gorgeous location. Friendly staff. Good breakfast with lots of options and always fresh. Lots of spacious parking available.

Hotel is a bit outdated and the shower was super small. They offer dinner but has to be pre ordered at breakfast time, so if you get there hungry you’re out of luck.

The road leading to property is quite narrow so can be tricky if you are not comfy with driving in such narrow roads. However once you are there, you will realize it‘s totally worth it.

The grounds were expertly manicured. The rooms were well fashioned and very clean the views into the valley and the Alps were wonderful!

A gorgeous hotel with gorgeous views. The breakfast and the daily special dish for dinner were delicious. All the staff were friendly and very attentive. We had a marvellously comfortable time here.

We did know that Tuesday is the rest day for the hotel with the restaurant closed, so no problems with that. However, it would have been nice to have been able to sit in one of the public rooms in the evening, with possibly coffee or tea making facilities available.

The breakfast was very good and dinner at the hotel was outstanding. We loved the personal feel of the hotel.

I wish the property would have been non- smoking.

It was hard to access via bus, bus service stopped at 6 and taxis aren’t cheap, but location would have been great with a car

It was well located for the places we wanted to visit. The staff were professional and attentive. Sitting on the terrace sipping cocktails in the afternoon was a highlight.

The view is beautiful, but it takes a while to get here from Berchtesgaden. I think car is mandatory.

The most beautiful view imaginable, wonderful sauna and plunge pool, pool and sun terrace, fresh scrambled eggs, good sized room, home cooked suppers, amazing breakfast, reasonable price, great hospitalily

No tea/coffee-making facilities in room. More warning about there being no food available on Tuesday evening - if we hadn't had a car we would have been very hungry! Bar closes at 10pm.

A wonderful place with a beautiful view of the valley and the mountains. Friendly staff, clean room. A good selection of food for breakfast, the restaurant offers delicious dishes for lunch and dinner.

The room is small, the translucent bathroom door can interfere with the rest of one person if the other turns on the light there.Please note that the lower rooms are on the basement floor and other guests may walk past your window.

Pool was good. Food basic Bavarian but good and inexpensive. View excellent. Some staff spoke no English but others did so not a major problem.
