Faboulous views great location and quality breakfast

Very confusing to find. GPS can't deal with the circle you have to take in order to face in the right direction to go up the hill

Great, affordable accommodations in Berchtesgaden. Breakfast was very good and the view was really nice as it snowed when I was there.

The walk was a bit of a walk from downtown, and was up a hill. Good if you don't mind a little exercise.

10 +.++ / AAA+++ stay. I have stayed at the property a few times before, always a wonderful stay. Amazing views of the entire area. Parking directly next to hotel.. Clean and large room. Great breakfast. Good WiFi. Good hot water. I will always return,

The view at breakfast was unbelievable. Short walk into town. We should have stayed longer.

Showers were very small and tight.

If you’re lucky enough to have a room facing the town, it will be an amazing view. The owners were a delight and friendly. The rooms were small but comfortable. Great breakfasts and amenities situated in a beautiful town.

Parking is tight, expected, but limited so if you’re unlucky to have a spot it’s a bit of a hike up from the other lot.

The view and the balcony is beautiful. Parking is good but it does seem there are only 5 spaces, there may be more somewhere else. Breakfast was good too .

Location is somewhat difficult to get to when you are driving on narrow mountain roads but it's worth it.Beds could be a little longer. Wifi is spotty and lacking.

Not knowing the best bus stop to get off at when arriving - we lugged our bags up a very steep hill. If we’d have stopped at the next bus stop we would have had much easier walk to the hotel.

Friendly, comfortable hotel with magnificent views over Berchtesgaden and to Mount Watzmann. Good breakfast too. Quiet and pretty street.

Parking spots were limited. Which means you have to park further down the hill away from the hotel.

Great location, great view, great breakfast and complementary travel tickets for the local area as well! The family running the hotel were super welcoming and made us feel at ease.

The room was quite small but very cozy with a wonderful view. The location is good, around 15 minutes walk from the town center. The hotel is located on a hillside so you have to climb up a little on your way back from the town but it wasn’t a problem for us and the view compensated for this effort. Breakfasts were delicious and the buffet was very rich. There were no dishes in a room but you could easily go downstairs anytime, make yourself a tea or coffee and take it to the room. The owners were really kind and helpful.

The hospitality, views from the terrace, and overall location was excellent. I also very much appreciated the size of the room - very spacious!

The hotel is located up the hill so the view is spectacular. From the train station we took the bus to the hotel and walked the last 100m to the hotel. The walk is uphill so a taxi from the train station is recommended. The breakfast was delicious and varied. The hotel was very clean and quiet.

Very charming hotel on a hill with a beautiful view. Walking distance from the city center. Breakfast buffet was great. A variety of choices and there are some great views from the dining space. Rooms were cute, bathrooms were nice. We booked it 20 minutes before we arrived and they were ready for us. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

the mattress was worn out, and while sleeping they sank in, and in the morning the back hurt from it
