Hotel unter renovation, kitchen was closed-so no evening meal.was notified by the hotel but too late.

Beautifully maintained and decorated

Middle of town, no real view, small bathroom

We did the reservation for one night only, but the service and the place were so amazing that we decided to stay longer! The breakfast and the sauna were totally awesome.

We found this cosy in lace by accident, but what a find this is! Feels like you’re being transported back 50 years in time, but it n a good way. Staff is extremely friendly, and the food in the restaurant is simply delicious. Wa are already plotting to come back this winter!

What’s not to like? What a charming, cosy hotel.

The staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel had its own charm. I liked the old clocks and butter presses. The pool was enjoyable and the food was decent.

The room smelled like an old gym sock, the toilet flusher was loose and every time another guest flushed the toilet or used the water, you got scolded or frozen in the shower. It was advertised as a "soundproof" room, which was not the case. We could hear the guests above us every time they used the bathroom. Also no AC and sleeping with the windows open can be problematic if it rains or if you want to have lights on (bugs come in toward light). Bed was not comfortable.

Hotel Dorer is a wonderful, comfotable, traditional Black Forest hotel. We had a lovely room with a view over the valley and a good sized balcony. A small bottle of sparkling wine was a welcome gift in our room. The hotel's indoor swimming pool was great and it was also only 5 mins walk to the excellent local outdoor pool. There was a sauna area in the hotel but we didnt test that out. Dinner was on the pricey side but very well worth it. We had the seasonal menu which was amazing and the local wine was good too. Breakfast was plentful and tasty. The family who run the hotel are welcoming and very professional. There are lots of walks straight from the hotel and the helpful tourist information office is only a few minutes away. We will certainly stay again!

The place was very well maintained, the dinner was very good, staff was friendly.

Mattress can be more comfortable and also better if it’s one big mattress in place of two, in a double room. Seems like the breakfast tables were fixed for the rooms.

Everything, from the hostess/owner Manuella to the quaint outside and inside. Great little restaurant, delicious food. It has been in the ownership of the same family for over 80 years. Just beautiful!

Wonderful owners. It was very easy to connect to the wifi and it worked very well. Our room was perfect. We booked the junior suite and it was lovely with a large, spotless bathroom with beautiful, ornate fixtures. Our room had two entrances. The back door opened up to a beautiful terrace with a path that leads down to the street where there is a small park. It was extremely convenient for walking our dogs. The food in the restaurant was amazing. Michelin star quality in our opinion. The prices were also very reasonable for the quality.

Everything was perfect.

I stayed in the hotel a few years ago - my sister was visiting from the U.S and I wanted her to experience a European "hotel". This was perfect - excellent for our needs. Very authentic European hotel, like a little museum. The decor is just amazing. The view was excellent (park with flowers), we were able to walk into town to eat (also had the choice to eat at the hotel). The breakfast was very traditional and wonderful. My sister LOVED it!

the staff didn’t allowed the use of the SPA after check out (which is at 11:00 am)the sauna open at 15:00.

This is a lovely, traditional hotel with delicious food and friendly, helpful hosts. Our room was quiet and comfortable and impeccably clean. There is some great walking from the doorstep too.

The staff is very friendly with attention to personal details. The food is very good - we want to recommend you take half board: an excellent menu for a very reasonable price. The place is great for long walks in the hills surrounding the hotel

The badroom is on the a bit small and rather "classic", which is not to our taste. The wifi does not reach the top floor. The terrace can only be reached from the outside and does not seem to get service.

We loved everything about the property as well as the amazing hostess & Chef! They didn’t forget any details to help make our stay relaxing, welcoming & wonderful!! The breakfast was hardy which kept us fueled up for our day. The room was very clean and comfortable with a great bathtub to soak in after our 24 km hike. We ended our day with wonderful dinner in their restaurant.

Fantastic traditional hotel, third generation owner, everything kept according to tradition, with a marvelous obsession for the details. Italian cook completes a delicious experience in these forests where Danube river springs out.

Wonderful! Everything you need from a hotel. Wonderful people who care about what they provide. Nothing was too much trouble. Perfect! Secure parking if you are on a motorcycle.
