The interior design of the place was lovely. The owner and the staff were really helpful and accommodating with great recommendations. The bed was very comfortable and the food and drinks were great

Gorgeous chalet, very friendly hosts who will help out with a much needed Flammkuchen and Beer even if arriving late and spontaneously! Room is cosy but spacious, smelling lovely, clean and modern whilst still keeping its traditional flair. (Balcony for extra views)Breakfast (included) was tasty, plenty and fresh.

Loved the bar/restaurant was on location. Loved the trampoline for our son to jump. Room was clean and quiet.

Pillows were super flat and not comfortable.

The hotel is in an excellent location sat alongside the B500 if you want to tour the Black Forest, we only stayed for the one night passing through, the rooms were clean and bright, the decor throughout the hotel is quite funky too, the restaurant was good and breakfast in the morning was ample too.

The WIFI. the WIFI only works on the ground floor which was really annoying.

The room was amazing, clean, comfy, peacefull, fresh air, just what we needed and even more? we are most thankful because our peta were also allowed. The breakfast was tiny, but very often refilled, so it’s ok

Since there was no cellular reach nor WiFi it would have been nice to have some brochures with hiking routes of the area. Breakfast was basic but nice.

The room that I booked and that it was confirmed was nice, and I got instead a worse one, with tents for the shower and a terrible bed.When I showed them the pictures, after 10 minutes of discussion, they gave me the better room, but it was also not at a decent level.The pictures of the best in the confirmation of the worse.Never forever...

A quaint place away from the hustle bustle, facing the hills. The decor in the common area was inviting and reminiscent of a classical chalet while the room was modern and immaculate.

Free wi-fi was restricted to the ground floor common area and getting a mobile phone signal was a problem.

Good value for your money

The bed was a bit uncomfortable and the bathroom small. The balony was shared and not ideal. But it did the trick!

Sleeping actually in the forest!

Lack of wifi (though there was a network it was of absolutely poor quality) and poor to none mobile service.This has its advantages and disadvantages.I wanted to be out of the grid but though I was on vacation, my business kept running.

Loved the meals we purchased. Very good food and service.

We purchased a card that was regional discount card for attractions in the area. We did not inspect the locations carefully and as it turned out we did not visit any of the attractions covered. Good news is the cost was minimal.

Dog friendly , which is what we were looking for.
