Pros +
- Location and view
- Owner was awesome a super sweet lady and helped us out. Has the rustic old world charm.
- The staff was very accommodating. We messed up our reservation but the lady working the desk helped us put and was very pleasant about it. The hotel was surrounded by beautiful countryside and very reasonable price.
Cons -
- Wifi did not work at all. No kettle at room provided for hot water or coffee
- Rooms were dated and the decor was well used. Heaters in both rooms were not very good. They charged (€18) for the baby crib, it was old and had holes in the netting. Toilet was a joke you couldn’t really sit down and use it.
- We had two rooms but they were not close to each other.

setting in beautiful countryside with lots of walking possibilities. near Triberg but far enough for calm relaxing experience. owners were exceptional!
poor internet connection for entire stay. no digs allowed in restaurants
If you like being a little outside of town and in more of a rural setting, you'll love this place. The facilities were clean, the food at the restaurant was delicious, and the staff was friendly and professional. Would definitely stay here again.
The hotel did not accept credit cards. Having booked the stay through booking.com WITH a credit card, I expected to be able to use the same credit card to check out. Luckily, the hotel did accept my debit card. There should at least be a disclaimer on the booking.com listing so customers know this going into it and can plan accordingly.
The food at the restaurant was delicious. The staff was really nice. The rooms were comfortable.
Great location for couples or families in the rolling hills away from noisy road traffic, traditional German breakfasts, dinner menus, rooms and amenities, outdoor and indoor pools and spa, free parking, all at a reasonable price. The host and customer service were excellent. We felt like guests in someone's home.
