- We had a suite and its was amazing, some would think old fashioned but for us it was regal, very cosy and comfortable. Great roof terrace. It was immaculate, not scruffy and spotlessly clean.
Cons -
- Plug problems connecting electronics such as laptop and cell phone or having universal plugs.
- Maybe a bit more cooked options for breakfast, but wasn't a big problem, still loads to choose from.
- The late check-in time.

Great hotel. Very well maintained, comfortable and spotless.
Location and beauty of decor. Staff very nice too.
The decoration and the queen size bed.
The late check-in time.
The hotel location was fantastic, and the charm of the hotel was out of this world. If you’re an American traveling there, this is a great value.
The beds in the hotel are very hard, almost like boxsprings only without a mattress and request a double or a queen, you may get two twins pushed together. That’s not something in the US that you find in hotels. The breakfast also is European style, which is not your typical US breakfast, so don’t be expecting scrambled eggs, bacon, toast, pancakes. They serve bruschetta, some fruits and vegetables and warm yogurt, warm boiled eggs.
Clean and general facilities were pretty good
It is 30 minute uphill walk to the historical centre. The water ran from very hot to cold in the shower making a decent shower impossible.
Easy access from Cuenca, our previous stop. There was underground parking. Value for money.
The bath/shower. The water temperature kept fluctuating while showering. The curtains between bedroom and sitting area were for show only and should have been functional.
Very nice room, we liked the dinner as well, it was delicious. Convenient parking
This hotel is really a historical and clean place.I advise you to choose there for your station in this city.
Their pool was mot clean. They did not have iron and good hairdryer at room, so take it for yourself.
The hotel entrance lobby is beautiful, lovely stained glass roof dome & glass elevators.
Our room was a little dated and in need of redecoration. It had a sofa/desk area & curtains to divide from the bed area.We were at the front of the hotel, over the main entrance & had a little noise from the traffic outside.Breakfast was quite poor, not a great choice of cereal or fruit for me - there were several tables of business people around, so think we arrived at a busier than usual time.
The room was very clean and exceptionally cosy and comfortable. Lighting excellent. The lobby and circular floors plus the amazing dome I loved. Staff were helpful with special requests.
The hairdryers. Terrible.
This is a very olde worlde style hotel set somewhat incongruously on a main road into Jaen. It was very comfortable however and beautifully appointed. Choice at breakfast was pretty good.
Although this hotel is advertised as having a pool, annoyingly it was not open to the residents. One of the reasons I booked was because it had a pool and as it was so hot there it would have been a welcome respite. If the pool is not going to available to guests then this should be flagged at the time of booking.
Beautifully decorated building, extremely friendly and efficient staff everywhere, cleaners deserve credit as room well cleaned and tidied. Lovely room with small balcony, bidet and low large bath. Good lighting and plenty of mirrors. Breakfast was generally good with excellent service and some hot food available. Cafeteria and bar good, had some nice food. Two glass lifts which went to car park.Reception staff phoned for taxis and gave information. Hotel easy to find .
No food at all at siesta time, kitchen opened at 8pm.Car park , the usual very tight underground carpark. The round atrium seemed to make the place quite noisy at night, people watching the TV , banging doors etc, it's all very open and so a bit noisy together with the traffic from the busy road. There is nothing in the area, get taxis to town for about €5 each way and use the tour bus for €5 each to get round the steep hilly city.Useless hairdryer in bathroom. Hard pillows
The staff was very helpful
Very old and dated interior Room conditioner didn’t work for hot temperatures
Breakfast with a lot of options and cakes
Hairdryer is awfulParking lot that you need to tighten the bell for the receptionist answer and open the door (seral doors)
Room was good size decor dated but in keeping with the hotel theme all very clean and well kept.Good location for bus €1 or taxi €5 into centre although walkable in around 15 minutes up a long busy gradient for active people.
Parking was shared with adjacent apartment blocks and two steep ramps down with gate access controls that were not reachable from the car.Cafe/Bar menu offered drinks that they were not able to provide when requested and had been out of stock for a long time.
The bed was fine, parking was available,
for a 4 Star hotel, we would have expected coffee/tea making facilities in the room and at least some of the staff to speak EnglishThe old and interesting part of the city was much further away than expected, according to the description of the hotel
The room was fabulous
The bathromm cleanings. There was hair in the bathtub. The spa bath was not working. The shower head was leaking several points.
