The bed was a bit too hard for me and the room heating was turned off which I did not notice till next morning as it cooled.
Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast.
Very friendly hosts and the hotel is very cozy. The room was cozy and clean and we could even choose from different rooms (we chose one with a clear view of the castle. Breakfast was good, enough choices and they even asked in case someone wants hot milk for cereal etc. The location is perfect, especially when you are visiting Lichtenstein Castle as it's just a short "hike" up the hill.
Nothing, we will come back here again.
We were allowed to check in an hour early.
Gardner had to show is in. Room was very outdated with paint coming off the ceiling. Couldn’t sit on the toilet with the door closed, as the toilet is too close to the door. Walls were paper thin, noise from the neighbouring guests.Door had to be locked with a key from the inside. Safety issue if there was a fire. Bed was very uncomfortable and noisy when you rolled over in bed.
A charming hotel with a beautiful view of the Lichtenstein castle. Very comfortable, quiet and clean. Breakfast was very rich with a big selection of sausages and a variety of fresh bread , spreads and fruits. I would recommend it to anyone going that way. I left my shirt in the hotel that had a big personal value to it, and the staff made a big effort sending it back to me which I can't express gratitude enough. If I'm ever going to that part of the country again I'm definitely staying again in this hotel!
Great view of castle Lichtenstein, very attentive service by a young lady from Bosnia-Herzogovina, quiet and comfortable.
Faultless !
Very clean, the rooms are spotless. Winter vacations here would be awesome because the rooms are heated. Amazing view and the location is beautiful.
There is no AC so bookings in the summer could be an issue.
Excellent breakfast. Beautiful large room with castle view. Friendly staff.
Nothing!
Good location, close to Litchenstein Castle.
Tiny, musty smelling, very dated room not suitable for 2 travellers. Even smaller bathroom, largely unusable. Cold water only. Flickering electrics, including main light and power point. Restaurant closed. Beds were small, and both pillows and mattresses very uncomfortable.
Staff was very friendly. We were upgraded to a nicer room which was awesome. You could see the Lichenstein Castle from our window. There is a nice outdoor patio next to a creek. Lots of things in walking distance and plenty of parking for guests. The hotel is more on the dated side in terms of design but it was a vibe and matched the overall aesthetic.
The pillow was extremely thin.
Very spacious family room. 2 adults, 3 kids (1 in a cot)

Passable
The place is quietly being run down, it would take thousands to renovate. The restaurant has closed due to lack of staff, the hotel page on Booking.com said it would be open, no notification to the contrary was given. Although cheaper than the hotel next door the price does not reflect the condition of the business.
The charm of the property, the kind staffs and the delicious food.

As an overnight stop on a road trip, this hotel was great. It was clean, very friendly, we had a large room with generally adequate facilities, free parking, and the breakfast was super.
The hotel is very traditional but a little dated, and a kettle in the room to make a hit drink would have been very welcome.
Beautiful Lichtenstein castle view from our balcony! The way the hotel is decorated. We seemed to be the only guests and they prepared an extensive breakfast
Great location, you can see the Schloss Lichtenstein up the cliff from the windows, very friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast. The restaurant is also very good. The Biergarten must be very nice in summer, unfortunately it was too cold to enjoy it now (end of October).
The rooms and bathrooms are a bit old, but clean.
Hotel is very unique with layout but has great view of castle in some rooms and overlooks a small stream.
Room layout was odd. Bathrooms were very small. Place was dated but charming.
