Hotel Carpi

Particular positive feedback is for Frederico in front of house. He went out of his way to help us when we had an unfortunate incident with the car before leaving. He made it possible for us to get on our way as soon as possible with calm support and practical help.Hotel location near the motorway is a real plus.Overall good quality hotel and rooms.

We would have appreciated onsite evening restaurant facilities though we were aware of the situation prior to arrival. There are eating facilities close by though not of the type we would typically use.

It would be good to have coffee/ kettle/ free water in the room.

Larger hotel for conferences etc, not the type to stay for a vacation. It was ok for one night passing through.

The hallway & room smelt from room "freshner," which was pretty overpowering. A few fast food places are nearby, but not much else.

Since a lot of years all the employed staff is great, very friendly and fullfil requests on time

The breakfast was excellent. The staff would prepare the coffees/teas for us as requested by us. They also prepared breakfast to take to the room when my daughter woke up late.

Horribly overpriced and outdated. The facilities are from the 70s, from the screechy elevator to the yellow-ed toilet. Brick-solid mattresses and single flat pillow (worst night's sleep of my life); no plugs available unless you unplug the only light sources in the room; can't control the air conditioning (it gets really humid and there’s nothing you can do about it); small TV; slow internet; 2 ply toilet paper; a safe so tiny it barely holds a phone.It’s also far from the city centre and near an A-road so you need a car or an expensive taxi to go into town, and the only things nearby are a McDonalds and a buffet restaurant.I have no idea how this place has 4 stars.

Good location next to motorway and with several dinner options. Comfortable room. Silent and clean. Nice and kind lady at the reception. Breakfast ok.

Convenient, clean, staff extremely helpful. Even if I did not take advantage of it, plenty of restaurants a few steps away from the hotel.

I could hear quite clearly the snoring coming from a room close by, I do not know if that depended on the real issues of another guest or the walls being thin.

Very nice and friendly staff, good location close to Bologna, when all hotels are busy... I recomend

They should clean the parking in front of of hotel

The bed was Ok ...but the rest was unexpected.For a 4 stars hotel , definitely I expected more . Location good and large parking place for free.

The air conditioning was working very bad. Shower from bath room extremely small .Everything was old : furniture , bath etc Definitely unwelcoming room .

Clean and nice hotel with good parking lot. Check in process is simple, staff is nice and helping.

Perhaps breakfast could be a bit better, but it's not really worth mentioning. In general, everything is fine.

Nice quiet modern (if you like red colour) hotel at the edge of the town in a commercial area. Nice clean rooms and free adequate wifi. Nice cappuchino at breakfast.

Nothing stands out. Not an impressive lobby or variety of italian products at breakfast (sweets ok). Also, you need transportation for the town center. In our case, the taxi that the hotel booked for us, robbed us by charging us at least 50% more than the normal fare.

Location and food ok comfortable bed clean but at buffet breakfast some visitors took the food with their hands instead of using proper utensils … and were allowed to do so !!!

Nice hotel, in a good location. Perfect to explore the region. Nice staff.

Needs some renovations and more attention to cleaning (dust under bed and behind door).
