    • Exceptional stay with amazing views and direct access to the lake. The staff were greeting and smiling everywhere and the breakfast was very delicious. They upgraded us to a suite with a lake view.
    • Fabulous resort for young families. Parco San Marco is a luxury stay for families and the staff go above expectation for your stay. From the moment we arrived we were looked after, the operations manager Roberto being especially welcoming showing magic tricks to the children as we checked in. The resort has kids club and pools with waterslides for the kids and a bonus treat was unlimited ice cream for the children from 12 to 5pm each day! They know that if kids are happy the parents are happy! Spacious rooms with air conditioning and a beautiful view of lake Lugano. Breakfast each morning was included in the stay and it was amazing. I had never seen the variety and quality food on offer for a breakfast buffet in my life! The kids were even looking forward to breakfast each morning. Overall a fantastic stay.
    • Amazing, staff noted my 70th birthday and delivered gift and 70 balloons to our room

    Cons -

    • Leaving
    • I can't really fault the resort. The location is secluded in a way so if you are not driving there then you can get a bus (35min) or taxi from Lugano.
    • The resort is set up for families and as two fifty something adults wanting to relax for a couple of days this did not fit.

We loved pretty much everything about this hotel. The location was perfect, with a private, not crowded beach in Lugano Lake, two swimming pools that were perfectly clean and well-prepared for the guests, and great service and food. I think it was also great value for money

The location was beautiful. 20 min walk into the nearest town with choices of restaurants and bars, and a small market on a Tuesday night. Breakfast was superb - so many choices. The facilities were great. The indoor spa was lovely. We liked the relax pool and the lakeside beach. There were plenty of sun loungers wherever you chose you to be. The staff were so lovely and helpful.

we relocated as this did not match the criteria we entered into our search, we felt the booking.com were slightly disingenuous as this resort does have a 5 star hotel on site which was one of our requested traits. unfortunately we were put into the 4 star family resort which although good for families did not suit this trip for us.

The resort is set up for families and as two fifty something adults wanting to relax for a couple of days this did not fit.

Good breakfast, nice area in front of the lake

Too expensive for the quality/equipments, paying parking, noise in the room

Beautiful location on the Italian side of Lake Lugano, complete on it's own with a small beach, splash pools and water slide, spa, a playground, a fish and turtle pond, childcare and three restaurants. The place was spotless. The service was exceptional! I mean really! Everyone smiles and it felt they are genuinely interested in the people around. They waived off the charges for our second child. :) and sent us bottles of water for the drive back. I've never had that before. We'll definitely go back again.

I paid for the hotel and when I have arrived it took an hour to explain to the staff. at the beginning they rejected because couldn’t find my name on their book list. then they told me I should pay extra amount because Booking.com was wrong price. when I went to sleep with the 3 kids sleeping in the car and waiting for me it was 00:40 midnight.

environment was superb! fantastic views and direct access to the lake

bedroom was large but temperature was not manageable, airco was loud and not strong enough to reach a pleasant temperature

All inclusive, great rooms with a view, good food. Staff was top notch

    Could be closer to Lugano

We chose the property due to the on-site facilities of gym, beach, restaurant and spa as we were travelling with our 3 month old baby. Overall very happy our stay. The staff were all fantastic in particular Alessandro our waiter. He was so helpful and gave us so many tips and great advice for our stay.

    1. Rooms were dated and not clean enough. We asked for an upgrade from B block to M which was much better but still dated. The rooms are not as modern as they show online. 2. Cleanliness - the room could have been cleaner. Our rug didn’t look to have been hoovered and one day they forgot to clean the room.3. Car parking - given you have to drive and there is nowhere else to park I was very surprised to be charged 20eur / day. This should be included. It isn’t clear on arrival you will be charged for this. 4. Adult / child only areas - I agree with other reviews that it is disappointing that a hotel set up for families makes you feel inferior for having a child. Unable to use large outdoor pool, unable to sit outside on the terrace for breakfast or dinner. Unable to eat at the terrace restaurant. That said, the staff were great with the baby in the areas you were allowed. 5. Hilly site which was fine for us but did get tricky in areas with the buggy so you needed to navigate the resort lifts.

This resort / hotel is an excellent value for money, everything is made to enjoy your stay, from the car park to the friendliness of the staff. We spent a wonderful weekend taking advantage of the stunning private beach, the view from our room and the different nice restaurants (directly on site). The breakfast buffet is well organized and offers a rich variety of food (local and international). We highly recommend this place and will definitely come back for another weekend.

Breakfast exceptional, view from the resort is breathtaking. The staff is very professional and kind. I recommend the "Passeggiata di Amore" with a fantastic view on the Lugano lake.

The room located near to the main road (E24) is quiet noisy when windows are opened. During the very busy Easter weekend the checkin should be improved. The employee who was in charge of our checkin was there only during the last 3 days. Mini Club outdoor activities are not very well organized.

    LocationParc and nature all around

Some dust could be found at arrival on the appartement floor; no wet floor cleaning after vacuum cleaning?

    8RksPosted on: 5-23-2021

    Very good

The cleaners left when they saw that the kids were still in bed, but did not come back later to make the room.
