- Location, Cedric from the front desk was welcoming and kind, restaurant personnel professional
- My 1st visit to this hotel was on April 2024, this is the 2nd time i revisit to this hotel but i did notice that the breakfast food variety is less choice then my previous stay. Food in restaurant is very nice!!
- An excellent cozy Swiss-style property, close to nature and in utmost tranquility, peppered with the smell of burning wood and the sound of horseshue. Staff are friendly and professional, making you feel at home. Sauna is small but enough, with a bucket of scented water awaiting us to be poured onto the lava stones. Attention to detail everywhere: commuting was free during our stay, and we were given water for our return trip. Restaurant Uondas has a lovely ambience and tasty food. One can sip great cocktails in front of the fireplace after a hike, or have a cigar (also available) at the counter.
Cons -
- The location is excellent but the front desk staff and management behavior completely destroyed the experience. From the very first phone call, the tone was robotic and confrontational. I called to inform the hotel about our pet and ask some infos on arrival. On Booking, under “popular facilities”, the hotel clearly states “free parking” like spa, wifi and bar. This was written at the time of booking and is still written today. The receptionist immediately told me that no parking was available and insisted that nothing like this was written online. When I explained that I was reading it directly on Booking, she repeatedly told me that I was wrong. Everything was said in a condescending and argumentative manner, not remotely appropriate for swiss hospitality. The next day, the manager called me. No greeting, no interest in understanding the situation, only defensive behavior. When I asked what solution she could offer, she told me to “check the google maps and write ‘parking’.” When I said I would report the misleading information to Booking so other guests would not be treated the same way, her response was simply "do it.". About one hour later, the hotel suddenly informed us that parking was available. The same disrespect continued during the stay, our room was not cleaned one day, and when we explained we had removed the Do Not Disturb sign earlier, the receptionist flatly denied our explanation, insisting we were still in the room, we had to prove with a photo taken outside the hotel to stop the argument.. basic requests (one pillow, one bottle of water) took 30–35 minutes and were followed by dismissive answers like “we said it’s coming, so it’s coming.”At nearly €700 per night for the most basic room, guests should never feel talked down to, argued with, or treated as if they are lying.Swiss hospitality is known worldwide for professionalism, discretion, and respect.Sadly, this hotel delivers the opposite.

Wonderful hotel with a lot of charm. Super comfortable rooms, cosy lobby and excellent restaurant.
Location and breakfast were exceptional
Clean and easy to find
Excellent location, especially when you want to take one step further from St. Moritz. The property has three restaurants and it was perfect because we stayed during Himmelfahrt. Dinner, breakfast, and lunch were all wonderful in the restaurant. The hotel has also very cozy bar by the front desk. Our room was spacious and the bed was large and comfortable. There was a bathtub in the bathroom, very nice. A quarter of an hour walk to the lake recommended by a staff was very beautiful. My mother and I are very happy that we stayed in this hotel and could enjoyed small part of Graubünden.
Maybe we should have specifically requested but our room’s window faced only the parking lot. We were surprised that there is a superb view of mountains on the other side.
Staff was incredibly thoughtful and generous, offering a chance to dine in the restaurant after hours as well as coffee and water upon our exit. The room was fully equipped and beautiful. Thanks for going over and above, we wish we could have stayed longer!
We only wish we could have extended our stay and had more time to try breakfast!
The staff and the breakfast!
The bathtub was really slippery, I slipped but was fortunately not hurt. There should be anti-slip tape on the whole bathtub floor.
Room was clean and spacious, nice bathroom. Reception was friendly.
Reception was not always helpful. Expensive food, hard to get gluten and dairy free meal.
Breakfast buffet choice very good.
Nothing. The room was a little small but had good wardrobe space. Bathroom had bath with overhead shower.
Breakfast, location, rooms
Clean rooms, comfortable beds. The breakfast and afternoon tea was super.
The meals at the restaurant were a bit expensive for us travelling from overseas.
Practical location, nice people and good service overall. Recommended.
Very friendly staff and superb location for hikes and nature.
Extra cake and coffee in the afternoon and a really nice sauna.
Beautiful. Clean. Lovely staff. Great food.
Amazing authentic old Engadin buildings, great restaurant (Uondas) where we had a lovely dinner (game season), great breakfast buffet selection. We particularly enjoyed the Engadin public transport and cable car card - amazing if you want to go on several hikes during your stay - and the sauna afterwards :)
Lovely and comfortable, spacious room but a little too warm (despite heating being off), bed’s mattresses too soft, and a bit loud (close to ventilation system), and without advertised river view (bc 1st floor and just on top of a flat roof). We’d come back but ask for a different room than 103, maybe on the second floor!
Location was beautiful! Staff was super friendly. Loved coffee and cakes offered 3-5PM.
Lack of vegetation (without egg) and vegan options in buffet breakfast.
There is a lot of choice for breakfast and everything is laid out buffet style around the restaurant, so no need to queue. The hotel staff were very helpful and polite and we enjoyed our meals in the main restaurant and we now understand why the locals visit for their burgers... they were delicious! (Note: It is pricey for the steak options which are ordered by weight). Our family apartment was spacious with very comfortable beds. The inclusion of the Summer Card which allowed us free, unlimited access on the local cable cars and funicular was great... the mountains in the area are stunning!
The location of the hotel, room decor, spacious, clean room & last but not least - excellent & very friendly customer service. Would definitely recommend Chesa Rosatsch. Thanks to Andrea (He was very friendly & provided very useful info)
